Guess America's National debt is too much for impact to be felt.

$12 billion represents around 0.06% of the federal debt. But that doesn't matter actually. Trump didn't managed to cut down the debt, although I expect him to do that later during his term. As of now, the federal debt is still rising.

One would have to ask, exactly what policy/executive action has he signed/enacted that would have been responsible for this? Especially in a month? Cuts to EPA/the endowments/national media haven't taken effect yet, and the only legislation we have seen is a travel ban and increased deportation enforcement.

Also, the debt is an insurmountable snowball that won't be surmounted by any one administration. Especially one with 1/20 of its appointees.

It seems to me that you want too fast to see the result. The economy has great inertia. The result will be seen only after a year. I'm certainly not a Trump supporter but I for objectivity.
