Is there going to be a 2017 version as well? If so, I just tripped on a wallet.dat file that has enough to buy.

General note: Everyone's coins have shipped unless I specifically reached out and let you know that we were short in this batch. I am in the process of sending out tracking info to everyone.
Next batch of gold is shipping in about two weeks.

Hey ! Those coins are really the most beautiful physical ones, I'm really planning to buy one but I would have a general and really nooby question before.
At the moment I'm only using an online wallet on Coinbase so I only get used to my public address and fail to understand how the private one really works.. so my question is : How do I redeem the value of the Titan BTC using the private key ? Do you act like a third party or I will be able to redeem it easily alone ?
Thanks you in advance and sorry for such a general question on your thread.

You would need a bitcoin wallet to redeem the value. For example, you can open a new wallet on www.blockchain.info (or download an offline client) and easily redeem the value by importing the private key. Here is a step-by-step explanation on their website: https://www.titanbtc.com/how-to-redeem-private-key-titan-bitcoins/

SCAM. Don't trust Tim Fillmore. TitanBitcoin is on the list on known scams, I lost 1btc to Tim Fillmore's scam. When I contacted Tim about the 2FA code on my coin, he claimed it was "already redeemed". Later, it came out, the coin was "not yet funded". Which one is it, Tim? Liar. https://www.titanbtc.com/verify/vFZKfWyJ/Tim has multiple databases tracking "funded" coins, and there is corruption among thoses tables. When you try to redeem the coin, he will find an excuse to not pay you, and then have all his scammer buddies trash your profile reputation, and threaten to call the cops on you and anyone who has ever been in the chain of custody of the physical coin in question. Tim accused me of tampering with my coin, after I opened it. He's a fucking scammer. I contacted the CFTC and the police about Tim Fillmore and his scam, and the CFTC said they are waiting for more reports before they investigate, and they had a TON of questions about his business. Since then I have been contacted by more victims claiming losses from owning Titan Bitcoins that they are unable to "redeem". I advised them to file complaints with the CFTC also. My reputation is trashed though, because I was the first to stand up against Tim, I had about 6 people leave negative reputation marks on my profile in the scam accusation thread, and claim that I'm a thief and a scammer, without ever having met us or being party to that transaction in any way. I had an eyewitness when I unsealed my coin, and both of us are executives at blockchain companies and I have no need to steal a single bitcoin from anyone. The reason I grilled Tim so hard is that I was actually employed as compliance officer at a bitcoin exchange at the time I was robbed by Tim, and I was required by law to report him to various federal authorities. If you'll notice, Titan Bitcoin is listed now, on the list of known scams, here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1326821.0

Hey Tim,
Guess what? Executives at bitcoin exchanges don't just forget that you robbed them. They get rich, and stronger, and angrier over time. No one accuses me of theft. No one. I will fucking ruin you. Don't ever try to sell physical coins again on this site, you fucking con-artist, because I'll be there to remind everyone that you are a fucking scammer. Come at me bro, I'll refer you to my legal team on Pennsylvania Ave., you dumb POS.

Seems weird that Titan would have to approve redemption of any coin, it should just be there to whomever peels the hologram.

Tim has been nothing other than stand up with the rest of the community, have you tried to reach out in a more civil manor?

As I mentioned, there was a formal dispute, and the police and federal authorities were involved, at my request. The investigation is pending, as far as I know. I can give you a contact at the CFTF if you want further info on that investigation. I referred another alleged victim to the CFTC regarding Titan Bitcoin, just last week, so maybe he hasn't been so stand up with the *entire* community, as you think.
