Haha. Yes, that's right. His account got hacked and theymos wouldn't restore it because he couldn't sign a message from an address associated with it. Jk. Seriously, I very much doubt his disappearance is down to a forgotten account. The last Gavin heard from him he had 'moved on to other things' or something. I'm sure (t)he(y) lurk(s) though.

Sorry for the silly question, but i am wondering what is the main factor and is there a formula of the activity of a member. For example now i have 196 activity and 460 posts how i can increase my activity?

It tells you the formula in the op. You can get a max of 14 activity points every two week period.

Activity is updated every hour. Every two weeks, whether you post more than 14 or not, only 14 posts will be counted as activity. See this post :

The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

The new membergroup limits work like this:

Group	Requirement
Brand New	0 posts
Newbie	(none)
Jr. Member	activity: 30
Member	activity: 60
Full Member	activity: 120
Sr. Member	activity: 240
Hero Member	activity: 480

I'm not 100% sure that the membergroups work correctly. Tell me if you see any bugs.

Activity is updated every hour. Every two weeks, whether you post more than 14 or not, only 14 posts will be counted as activity.

Its updated every 30 minutes and activity wont update for him if he doesn't post at least once during the two weeks.

The site states that you get 14 activity posts, but doesn't matter on how many posts you have. However, that's not always the case. Newbies up to activity 15 it matters on posts. for example, if I post 6 posts then my activity will be 6. If I post 14 it will be 14 right up until 15 I believe.

Besides that, even if you don't post for a long time, your activity will be incremented with each post when you begin posting up to the limit determined by your registration date...
