I have invested into many ICOs after doing some research.

It is a bit risky, but overall i am up.

The bounty hunters are everywhere ( not just Crypto) i have found that they don't really cause issues with the market once ICO is closed.

Do some research, buy some ICO coins, keep an eye on them and make sure you sell when you planned. hoping they go up more may cost you more than what you might of made.
Make sure you back up your wallet regularly! Unlike a bank account, nobody can help you if you lose access to your BTC.

The best way to learn is to have your ass handed to you. Invest small amounts so you learn and don't get soaked. Then when you start making gains on your small amounts you can start looking at bigger. If you start big, you'll lose big and then you're done.

There's no easy money in crypto even though people like to whine about say otherwise.

the result on return sometimes would turn out sour, some coin projects are merely hype even though it seems legit, you would see the activity and updates would be delayed for almost months then years, that would affect and lessen the price of the coin.

i am agree that investing in many ICO is risky because we don't know what will happen after the ICO is finished and we only hope that the ICO is success and we can make decent of profit. i think, if i want to investing in ICO, i need to read all information about the ICO and doing research like what you do, trying to investing with small amount while i can continue to follow the journey and see if there is any good news from the ICO and the dev, maybe i can make other investing.

Look at this ico
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/icobid/#charts
The current price is 88 satoshi and his fixed rate is between 700 satoshi - 900 satoshi and their discount rate @350 satoshi.  This ico the example of crap ICO.

More and more projects that are doing ICO's are having real tangible uses outside of just the crypto exchanges, those are ones to look for because you can get more out of them and multiple ways to make revenue.

I also joined and invested in some ICOs, I was enticed because of the high return that will double or triple your initial investment. But in the end it will failed your expectations. I don't know how much an amount of money I lost in investing. I don't trust ICOs anymore it's really sucks!

Does purchasing ICO very rewarding? Yes I know there are lots of ICO scams, but lets talk about the genuine ones.
For example if bought 100usd worth of ICO, will the value of ICO I bough remains 100usd or higher?
What if the altcoin ICO doesnt meet the target purchase amount they are expecting for. Will I get the same amount of ICO worth the money I invested?
In my opinion this is just like the trading with the altcoin/bitcoin or bitcoin/altcoin here only difference is that we are dealing with that altcoin which is no get launched .
Second thing of scam and legit we can't predict .
Before invest in trading we need to think or see at the two things .
First thing is what is the special about the ICO which is making different from other altcoin ICO .
Second thing is what is the popularity between the bitcoiners , that will help to making buying more by the bitcoiner after the launching .
If these two thinks you like much about the ICO , then you should try to Invest Otherwise leave it here

Nope, it depends on the ICO result. because too many the fixed price ico are giving a bullshit for us. after the coin hitting the exchange site and the price will go down over the multiple times of the ico price.

When ICO creators invest a lot of OWN money they have free TOKENS to dump, same time ICO BTC will always return to them.
So sometimes ICO which are dumped i bet are in 100% made that way to cash out on you stupid investor.
But morons have tendency to blame that 2% BOUNTIES dumped ...
Next thing to srew invoetors is HIGH bonus like +25%... and people CRY why dropped,

People you will NEVER KNOW HOW MUCH CREATORS HAVE self invested in ICO to DUMP later.
So stop playing dump people and cry that ICO token was dumped below ICO price.

I bought $TIME from Chronobank and the ICO price is 1TIME = 0.01BTC , so I thought it would be 0.01 to 0.02 once it will land on exchange sites. But until now the price is between 0.06 to 0.8. Thats why I created this post. I wish I just bought the coin in the exchange sites instead of buying from ICO. Lols.

i think ICO is like gambling, you may win a lot or lose a lot. it might be easier to choose the right people, not the project.

Yes it can really be compared as gambling but if you did chose the right coin then you might win or gain profits and this is the hardest part on choosing a coin and does have a good potential. Its not an easy thing to carelessly chose and for op it depends on devs if they would pay up equivalent on thr amount you invested but mostly this do happen.
