Hi, I have 5 raspberry PI 3 model B (a cluster) and I presumed that someone would tell me altcoins for CPU mining.

Seekerdasbatatas,

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Last year, there were people getting good results mining XMG, using raspberry PI. I think there is even a pool for raspberry PI. I'm not sure if it's still profitable to mine it, but if you are interested, in their community they probably can help you.

XMG is the only coin with a working ARM miner afaik. A Raspi should make a half coin or so per day.

So theoretically 5 RaspPi should give 2.5 XMG per day giving 0.0000774 BTC/day which should not be bad at all.

tpruvot cpuminer-multi can mine several algos, including m7m (XMR) and compiles clean on ARM (Rasp-Pi and others).

LBRY might be another decent choice.

I'm mining yescrypt on my CHIP for about 50 satoshi/day. Pays for the power, almost.
