I need some advice on screen caputer software. I like camstudio its free. But also started using a program called Action. Thought about using dedicated capture hardware but its a bit pricey... What do you guys and gals reccomemd? Mostly for desktop and games.

Thank you  Cheesy

OBS is the main standard in the games that I play, and I have used it for several other screen captures with no problems whatsoever. It's free, no watermark and heavily customizable. I would definitely recommend.

Wait, you mean to tell me there's a way to capture... let's say goats grazing... live streaming on your screen? I wonder if those guys who watch porn are aware of this. Keep me abreast (no pun...).

I use FRAPS on the PC, and ScreenFlow on the Mac to create videos of my desktop.

FRAPS is commonly used for this. I know that nvidia also built something like this into the GeForce Experience application, but I tried to use it once and it didn't work very well for me.
