i have tried to register a russian game on steam and steam could tell i wasnt in russia, how muck leechage happens on your average VPN, i paid for 2 years with 1 vpn company but i cant even netflix thru it anymore because netflix knows.....

Netflix just blocks most vpns to try stop exactly what you're trying to do. I guess it's probably similar for steam. If you want to check if it's leaking your IP just check some 'what is my ip' site.

you can use this site to test VPN leakage https://ipleak.net/. it provides good explanation of the tests result.

one of the best VPN they dont keep logs and they give you port forwarding etc..
