Every human being may have different physical strengths, so there may be some who have an effect on health but there is also no effect whatsoever.
But surely if excessive of course not good.

People with medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and liver ailments are advised to avoid alcohol. I have also heard that antibiotics became either less effective or ineffective, if taken together with alcohol.

Hi guys. Just wanted to know whether drinking is good or bad for our health...first of all i drink every weekend because i feel refreshed after a heavy week of work..  After i drink i take a lot of food and have a nice sleep....I do not have any kind of headache or anything after drinking but will it affect me in the future.... My dad almost drinks everyday right from his childhood may b at the age of 18 but my dad is healthy and strong even after drinking so many years... Thanks to god for that....... Any way,  When it comes to your health, is it better to drink or not to drink?
well its quite both actually, because drinking alcohol is good for the body once in a while but if you drink too much it will also have adverse effects to your body, so its both for me.

It is always alright to drink BUT with moderation. I suggest the occasional drinking.
Alcohol drinking depends on many factors: how many glass are you taking a day, what is the alcohol concentration of the alcohol you often drink?, etc. As I remember .45 to .50 alcohol concentration taken up in one drink can cause coma and possible death.

Binging in alcohol can cause high blood pressure, stroke, and other heart-related diseases, liver disease, nerve damage, sexual problems, permanent damage to the brain, vitamin B deficiency, which can lead to a disorder characterized by amnesia, apathy and disorientation, ulcers, gastritis (inflammation of stomach walls), Malnutrition, and Cancer of the mouth and throat and hepatitis.

Alcohol is not good for health, about your strong father is not because of the effects of alcohol but because his health is still good. The influence of alcohol arises when the long term be it organ damage or neurological disorders, short term if consumed excess can be unconscious, better reduce drinking alcohol.

Alcohol is not good for health...

There is another problem, i see in my country, when people are under the influence of alcohol they become altered.

On my street for example, has an establishment that sell alcoholic drinks, that place becomes a bloody all weekend. This is because when people consume alcoholic beverages they start bloody fights. I wonder why they still sell alcohol? What are the benefits of alcoholic beverages?

Because i do not drink alcohol and i do not see any benefit from drinking alcohol

Neither do I. I see it as just another additional expense and possible source of crime. But if someone takes out a brandy or red wine during an event, I'm not one to refuse just for the sake of social drinking.

But I know allot of people here that claim health benefits from drinking semi-regularly. 4-6 bottles a month of beer or something. Supposedly cleans the heart out and.... liver?! I'm not quite sure what to make of that.

True, moderation is the key to everything. It is excessive alcohol drinking that causes a greater risk of heart disease, depression, and other illnesses. A glass of wine a day wouldn't hurt. I drink one after dinner while watching television or listening to music. It heals me. Smiley

I have heard that vine is good for health, in small (normal) amount of course. And there are good sides of alcohol, for example, it provide relaxation effect on person if taken right measure. But alcohol is not the real problem, real problem is people, who think that they can do what ever they want, and later on blame it on alcohol...

You can drink alcohol if you wanted to but of course with moderation, a cup of red wine in the week is good for the heart and help with the blood pressure. Smiley

It seems like alcohol is damaging,  Alcohol changes brain chemistry,
initially increasing neurotransmitters that drive the brain’s pleasure centers, but over time and with chronic abuse, depleting them.
As the tolerance to alcohol increases, the abuser must take in more in order to feel the effects, which further damages both the body and brain.
But I really love alcohol and I enjoy it

I also sometimes like to drink a little, but I can not say that alcohol benefits. It negatively affects not only the brain, but also other organs. It is better to try as much as possible to do without it as long as possible.

Depending on the amount taken and the physical condition of a person, alcohol may cause:

1. Speaking of lisp
2. Feeling sleepy
3. Vomiting
4. Diarrhea
5. Stomach pain
6. Headache
7. Difficulty breathing
8. Blurred vision and hearing impaired
9. Disturbance of consideration
10. Reduction of perception and coordination
11. Unconsciousness
12. Anemia
13. Coma

Missing awareness (memory loss, not remembering events occurring while under the influence of alcohol)

I do agree that everything should be in moderation but that's probably not the case with drugs and alcohol , I mean once you start , It's probably just a matter of time until you get addicted to it and you screw your life. It's better to stay away from these things . I never smoked or drink anything on my life and I'm just fine , If I have problems or I celebrate with something , I don't see how alcohol will make me feel better.
That's true....
Once you take a step to drink alcohol then you'll be again influenced drinking alcohol,  it's a massive addictive task, so bad thing should be treated as a bad, it should be always kept away,  smoking and drinking alcohol are basic of addiction. So both should be prohibited for good.

This small list of enough unpleasant symptoms should be enough for an intelligent person to avoid alcohol consumption or reduce it to a minimum.

I used to take alcohol regularly, and I don't remember suffering from any of these conditions. Even none of my friends who consume alcohol has experienced any of these syndromes. Common, coma as a result of alcohol consumption? This is ridiculous.

He did say it depends on the amount taken and the physical condition of a person, so maybe you just handle alcohol better than some people. One thing it can cause is for you to get a distorted picture of reality around you and act inadequately and that's bad enough.

I remember I once drunk about half a liter of vodka at a friend's house. My friend was already wasted and I felt tired too so I lied down on a bed with the intention of taking a nap. I must have slept no more than one minute as another guy who was there recalls and I jumped from the bed in sort of a panic and ran outside. During that minute of sleep I had a dream that the IRS with SWAT teams have confiscated my friend's house and taken everyone away. I woke up and couldn't differentiate between the dream and reality. I wasn't going to let the SWAT guys capture me, so I ran outside and started running through the streets. At the same time I was also looking for my friends by banging on the doors of houses where I supposed they were being held. Weirdly and luckily for me nobody opened their door. Mind that this happened on New Year's Eve and I went out with bare feet and not too much clothing. Cold made me sober up in about half an hour but when I did I was somewhere I had never been before and I had to get a cab. Went straight home, the cab costed a fortune.

As I think this over now, someone could have opened his door and given me a serious ass kicking. In fact I'm pretty sure if the guy whose door I was banging on was just as wasted as me and had a gun, he might have even shot me.

Simple as this bro, all things that too much, except too much loving God, is bad for ourselves. If you drink too much, then it would cause some illness. Simple as that.

Drinking alcohol may provide health benefits in our body as long as it is moderate.

I do not think that drinking alcohol has a positive effect on the body. All I know drinking alcohol can cause some bad for the body. And if taken moderately, it will still have an adverse effect on the body, it's just the impact that we will not feel in a short time, but will have an impact in the future. The symptoms will be felt several years later if consumed in a moderate but routine.
