Drinking will seem like a good way to get away from your life's daily struggles for a while. You have a little buzz. Sleep without any dreams and remain light headed. The bottom line though is that you lose confidence, you may develop a alcohol dependency. You may fail to socialise without the right cue-alcohol.  And may I ask you to google the fatalities caused due to alcohol related incidents. It is THE most fatal drug in the world.

Alcohol is good if it is taken in small quantities. But if it is taken in big quantities there will be a big risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, atrial fibrillation and stroke.

Hi guys. Just wanted to know whether drinking is good or bad for our health...first of all i drink every weekend because i feel refreshed after a heavy week of work..  After i drink i take a lot of food and have a nice sleep....I do not have any kind of headache or anything after drinking but will it affect me in the future.... My dad almost drinks everyday right from his childhood may b at the age of 18 but my dad is healthy and strong even after drinking so many years... Thanks to god for that....... Any way,  When it comes to your health, is it better to drink or not to drink?

It's good to have a drink after working for a long day. I think that people drink to socialize and to relive stress. However, there's no other benefit from drinking. Drinking ruins your health and in time you might get sick because of it. It's better to drink with moderation.

I also drink too much as you did before. I am not old then your dad. But I have grandfather and he is still drinking since 60 years. There are so many people who drinks much in city that I live in. I think it is not healthy for us.

Alcohol’s impact on your body starts from the moment you take your first sip. While an occasional glass of wine with dinner isn’t a cause for concern, the cumulative effects of drinking wine, beer, or spirits can take its toll.

you can take 3-4 units of alcohol per day (for men, for woman 2-3 units), it want harm you, actually it will be beneficial, but if you take more than that for a day that will harm you liver and increase the risk of other diseases,
best advice would be avoid drinking alcohol, but its ok to drink with in the limit,
(1 unit - 8g of alcohol)

Many people enjoy a drink without any problems, but binge drinking or drinking heavily over longer periods of time can have very serious consequences. Alcohol misuse not only harms the individual, but damages relationships and society in general in terms of violence and crime, accidents and drink driving.

Drinking of alcohol has a positive and negative result in our body so we should think wisely in drinking it. If you drink alcohol moderately and responsibly you will not experience any problems instead it can lower the chance of having diabetes. But if you are a alcohol addict, you will face many problems such as having a disease like stoke and cancer. We should always remember that we should drink it wisely so we can avoid any conflict. And I can see that people who drink it always are having a miserable life.

Effects of doses of alcohol above that safe level, which differs for people depending upon weight and whether they consume on an empty stomach, begin with relaxation and reduced inhibitions. While these effects may be pleasant, they then progress to lowered concentration, lowered reflex and response time and poor coordination, all of which result from a slowdown in the activity of the brain.

I do not drink alcohol and do not advise anyone. Because sooner or later, from this bad habit, the body will fail and begin the disease, besides, this is unnecessary financial costs. If you are tired from work, then look for healthy ways to relax and rest.

There are times that drinking alchohol is good for our body. For example, white wine and red wine, they are good for the heart and real great for digestion. Often wonder why we drink it whenever we order steak, because that is it’s benefit. However, of course too much is bad like any other alchohol.

Well, if you drink every day, then of course for health it's bad, but if on holidays, or sometimes relax, in small quantities, then I think there is nothing terrible, just always need to know the measure, and then perepeete and in the morning your health will not be very good(( Grin Cheesy Cheesy

For some drinking alcohol is a sedative of calming down surging emotions.  But hate to say that I cannot drink alcohol to tone down my emotions.  I am allergic to it that makes my whole body itch and red.

Drinking moderate amounts of alcohol is good for health. Heavy drinking takes a heavy toll on the liver and can lead to a variety of problems.
