Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Actually since I'm new and not trusted yet I'd like to suggest that we use escrow, and I'll raise my bid to 0.05btc

Using an escrow is risky as then can blacklist it
I bid 0.052

Trading without an escrow is risky-er. I believe there are a few escrows around that don't mind escrowing account trades and won't add a trust rating to every account they do.

You can never trust in a slip of the tongue or word of mouth. So that risk will always be there
unless that escrow is your personal friend and know the guy. Just look at Master-p and that debacle of an escrow running off with $15,000 or more in btc from his "legitimate" escrowing service.
Even escrow can not be completely trusted here.

That being said I raise the bid to 0.056btc
No escrow needed and having to pay them for squealing out the name of the accout once sold if squeezed hard enough outta them. Tongue

And you trust the seller, an anonymous Member account, to keep quiet about the trade? If you're looking to nullify all risks then make a fresh account + fresh wallet and work from the ground up.

The next bid will essentially be the BIN price, so I don't think it matters much at this point anyways.

It would if that bidder doesn't pay.
Then it goes to the last bid which was 0.06.

So if op can answer the question we can proceed with the auction and if it is fact OVER now!

It is over. I have won.

Waiting for seller to give me details to escrow because there are some indiscrepencies with what he's telling me about this account from what was agreed with in pms.
Signed messages can not be signed from blockchain.info wallet now?
Said there was one from 4 mths ago. So waiting for this to be confirmed by him.
If not available then deal is off and my bid is retracted.
Continue on with your sale. Cause you did not disclose how many light green trust are on this account when asked earlier in the first place.

Sort of red flag to me when not being totally transparent with the buyers who want to bid for this account. Which is quite high to be honest with the btc price rising $100 since auction started.

SO did you get the account you won yet?

OP has connected online but nothing was told.

OP say if sold if not then my bid of 0.062btc still stands.

I bought this account and paid for it.
Did not receive account yet and it was confirmed by him that he would send after 1 confirmation.
It has been 78 confirmations already but no response from seller with my account yet.

Any progress?
NO!
And this member has avoided my pm's when he does come online which is every 6 hours from when I made payment and it was confirmed and received.

Next step is to show those pm's on his other auction of his legendary acct he is  selling.

That is just not right to say your going to wait until 1 confirmation then just bail on giving what was paid for. No matter what the product is in question.
