I bet this site uses a cronjob to handle all user upgrades and such, would be on a timer, ie.. every 15 mins or such.. Wait for it  10 mins actually but some are waiting for hours now... |

somehow this system is great to keep the trash out of the forum, but on the other hand, users like me, who were reading posts in an unregistered status need to wait before they can post anything and start to bid on auctions or reply to interesting threads |
