For those of us who have a creditor # and made a claim and now when we try to login and verify only have the screen refresh as if nothing happened - what do we do?

How do we confirm or verify?

Is it a technical issue or an approval issue we are dealing with here?

Not every account is yet approved. If you see nothing is happened, you may have to wait until your case is examined.

Chaos could be a form of intelligence we cannot yet understand its complexity.

Any confirmation of the money being returned yet ?

Until the end of the review of all the requests, that can last until 26 of May, no possibility that something will be returned....

I'm sure this has been stated before, but the 'heist' of MtGox, if there in fact was one, was one of the five largest bank robberies in the world.

http://listverse.com/2009/12/01/10-largest-robberies-in-history/

And Bitcoin was just getting started.

Those are the questions, are they not? Was this ever a heist, as Mark once claimed, or was Mt. Gox acting more like a bank operating on a fractional reserve? If it was the latter, then who "borrowed" those coins--unless, of course, you are willing to say "nobody"? If so, then it had to have been a Ponzi scheme from the beginning.

What kind of % return does a claim likely garner.  Does this cash in deal involve private escrow I guess?
Must be a pleasant surprise to get anything, Japan is not useless then.  Probably a good idea to check whichever website you deal with is registered at

I guess speculation will be over tomorrow. Regardless of what the outcome will be (ie: getting back something or nothing at all) this process closes a significant chapter in Bitcoin world. For most people it was a nice lesson to learn:

"If you don't own the private keys, you don't own the bitcoins"

Good luck to everybody.

Probably.... only the Attorney knows exactly.... we hope..... but could be that he set up another deadline if has not finished to review all the claims and didn't express a verdict to accept or reject....

and just in case you miss those information, worth reading...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Someone is dumping significant new info...

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/4kq7xh/dumping_dirt_on_mtgox_starting_today_link_to_fb/

I wonder if the heist at 1400 ATMs in Japan may be related. More than 100 people reportedly involved.

http://arstechnica.com/business/2016/05/japan-atm-heist-reportedly-involved-100-people-who-stole-12-7-million/

Three major SWIFT attacks in the last month.

Keep in mind, the MtGox heist was one of the largest "bank thefts" in world history. Between 450k and 850k Bitcoin stolen @ $1200/BTC. On the low end, that was $540 million USD. For comparison:

http://listverse.com/2009/12/01/10-largest-robberies-in-history/

Maybe they will post the results once Japanese business hours start . I called the mtgox call center last night and I spoke to a Japanese lady and I told her my situation and she took down my claim number with my first and last name and said that she would pass my info to the administrator and that I MIGHT get and email from then. I don't want to jinx myself but I doubt that.  Fingers crossed and "  prayers up " that legitimate individuals who filed a claim get approved and rewarded In a compete and timely manner .
