I'm in the same boat... 2 withdrawals today. 3 hours apart. The first one went through and the second one hasn't hit the chain yet. It's been 9 hours.

I made a withdrawal to BTC-e (address 16JL7nVLna21T1BhhK3BnYeEeUP6V1jCic )and received a confirmation email over 3 hours ago, but according to blockchain this address has not been used on the network.

Anyone else having issues? (and yes I have messaged chat support, just waiting for a reply)

I made a withdrawal from Gox 5 or 6 hours ago, also to a BTC-E address, but it didn't yet show up on the blockchain and it isn't received at the deposit address yet. Sent the Gox team an email.

The withdrawal finally came through. For other people waiting for btc withdrawals: just go to sleep, your coins will probably arrive the next day.

Occam's would say that they are running out of cash, which doesn't mean they are scammers - but is a call for problems.

How come? Where does all of the shitload of fiat go that people send them daily? They might owe more than they have, but I can't think of a realistic scenario where this would be the reason why they have trouble sending wires.

Why are people still using Gox and why are you waiting months to withdraw? Just cancel your wire, buy BTC then withdraw that, there is a higher likelihood you'll see that than your money anytime soon. Also Gox rate dropped below Bitstamp momentarily today so you could of bought on gox then sold on Bitstamp and not taken a bashing on the 10% difference between exchanges.....

Also do we have proof of a Japanese bank transfer taking place quickly? Rather than just some guy saying that it probably is happening because he heard it from somewhere.

Still nothing from my June and July withdrawal. I think I'm about to suck it up, take my cash, and buy in at $800 at essentially 1/8 my original Bitcoins sold. Lesson learned, never use Gox again.
Check again, $960 on Gox now.
They have inadvertently crucified their customers who accepted the TwoWeeksTM mantra.
This is just silly.  If you wanted BTC, you should have bought BTC, not withdrawn USD.  When you sell your BTC, you don't get any advantage of a price increase.  As simple as that.  Don't blame MtGox for your own mistake.  USD is going down the drain.  This fact has been known for a long time.  Stay away from USD and buy BTC instead.

Don't bother.  Rampion is vaccinated against facts and logic.  Completely immune.   He doesn't even read this thread (or does it very selectively), just post here from time to time.

Because people tend to report when there are problems, not when everything is running smoothly.  There were reports a month or so back of Japanese domestic withdrawal delays of up to 4 days due to the 100 million JPY (~1 million USD) daily limit.  The pressure has decreased now, and domestic withdrawals are almost always next day.  Anyone with a Japanese bank account can confirm it, but they are probably not reading this thread.

Puzzling indeed, the bankrupt scenario hold less and less, as they are surely receiving millions of dollars with this new boom, but yet not a single wire is sent. They can receive USD but 'cannot' send USD through SWIFT system.

Maybe:
1) SWIFT  ( conglomerate of banks ) blacklisted them from sending wires only.
2) they are under some kind of legal restrictions from sending wires.

How Ripple Rips you: "The founders of Ripple Labs created 100 billion XRP at Ripple's inception. No more can be created according to the rules of the Ripple protocol. Of the 100 billion created, 20 billion XRP were retained by the creators, seeders, venture capital companies and other founders. The remaining 80 billion were given to Ripple Labs. Ripple Labs intends to distribute and sell 55 of that 80 billion XRP to users and strategic partners. Ripple Labs also had a giveaway of under 200 million XRP (0.002% of all XRP) via World Community Grid that was later discontinued.[29] Ripple Labs will retain the remaining 25 billion"

700 EUR SEPA withdrawal initiated 24 October changed status to pending today.

The FAQ-page on how long the delays are seems to be accurate (at least for sepa).

Amazed by how people still tries to cash out using MtGox.

I didn't see any report of somebody successfully cashing out a significant amount of USD in months.

I just received my 5%-fee wire that was requested 4 weeks ago.

I just asked them to cancel a 7 week old ACH USD withdraw.  Will put the money to use elsewhere once I can convert to btc and withdraw.

I think MtGox is the worst thing to happen to cryptos in general.
I have lost about 40 000$ while not being able to withdraw my BTC to invest in LTC. I will NEVER EVER use mtgox again and will tell everyone this. The level of incompetence is beyond belief. They actually process bitcoin withdrawals as long as SEPA transfers.
