Open Bitcoin Trader will be an open-source cross-platform desktop application allowing Bitcoin trading on most exchanges. It will also provide tools like charts and much more.

OpenBitcoinTrader will be using cryptocoin-tradelib, a Java libary implementing the APIs of many exchanges.

Anyone interested in contributing can communicate with reazem@openbitcointrader.org or join #openbitcointrader on Freenode.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

- No screenshot yet, most progress has been made in the lib.
- IRC channel is now alive Smiley
- We need a web designer for a sexy project website! You can now contribute to the website directly on github!
- Will add github links in the original post
- Lots of progress has been made on a Java libary that can be used to trade on several exchanges. We will provide it as a separate project, openbitcointrader will be using it.
