Never try any cloud mining, they are many ponzi scams, we need to know this is consensus. i think you should hold bitcoin, or invest altcoins in poloniex exchange.

all the cloudmining service that you see these days are scam, and are running a ponzi scheme instead of a legit business.
and besides even if it is a legit mining business with real profit returns, you still need to worry about your return of investment and all the fees they take out of your payment for things like maintenance,...

cloudminings are not worth it mate. Most of them are ponzis i disguise while earning in a legit cloudmining will require you a whole lot of money to gain profit fr a decent time. Don't invest your money just keep it in your wallet and wait for a price pump. Or you may want to consider trading. Most people are lucky to get huge profit in it and your 0.5 btc is already big as a starting capital.

Hi, You will find many investments sites and opportunity to invest in bitcoins but most of them are ponzi schemes which will make your money lost.
I know few investment opportunities which are really paying (as my friends told) and i can help you on that if u need.
I personally dont invest on any sites.

You are new to the bitcoin and cryptocurrency world,i quess.
The 0.05 btc that you invested in hashflare are at high risk.
The only legit way to invest your bitcoins is to learn and practice cryptocurrency trading and trade every day.

I think you are mainly concentrating on investing into cloud mining, you can invest in cloud mining but to get returns it will take lot of time to make profit from those cloud mining sites. So it's find different places where people are making money, because there are many other sectors where you can make money like trading, investments, rev share, altcoin investment, altcoin trading etc.

Firstly, I don't think investing in any cloud mining is reliable or if you sure that will be a real cloud mining system but they will not bring you the expected amount of interest. If someone refer you to some kind of HYIP, I recommend that you have to say NO. I mean, I don't trust in any HYIP system because they all end at scam before you can get your starting money back (except some system will give you some profits before break down but still very risky).
I'm investing in Altcoins trading, and I think if you want to make money, you have to take risk, but this level not as high as 2 kind of system I've mentioned in the first section. It will took you 5-10 months or even a year before you get your ROI there or on any cloud mining sites, even other people call it "legit cloud mining site" there's no guarantee that this sites will give back your money 100% and they aren't totally legit.
Why just you save it or used it on trading but you have to learn it first.

You could just keep hold of your 0.5 as this is an investment in itself.  Some of the so called invest opportunities you come across will be very risky especially cloud mining as a lot of these will be scams and even legit ones it will take you at least a year to get a ROI.

You could also look into altcoins, the potential for quick profit is there if you are in the right coin at the right time but you can also lose your money just as quickly.
