guys, help me understand. Here is my address on btc38
http://xcn-explorer.selektion21.de/?address=CGtPwgt7pJgSdABTLB2vSAoiL873XJMKkM

recently all my money (63060.9598900200 XCN) transferred to another address. the translation was made NOT by me.

btc38  steals money ?  Shocked Shocked Shocked

I wouldn't be too worried. This is a normal practice for exchanges to move funds from your deposit address to their general wallet (maybe cold wallet). BTC38 has always been doing that. I personally see it as a good sign.

P.S. My coins were also moved in that 5M transaction Smiley
thank you I understand. (unfortunately I sometimes write on emotions and then think)

regarding adding XCN to whattomine. Support wrote that XCN was never listed them (though it is not). Here's what they said
Quote
I dont think I have ever listed this coin on my site.
Please request a new coin addition with all required info from contact form placeholder.
but I can't find the add coins form

Maybe just fill in this form: https://whattomine.com/contacts/new

I will try to process this tomorrow. Never calculated rewards for this algo, will see Smiley

fixed it ... my wallet.dat got corrupted somehow ... cause an older backup i had externally did the trick ..... it was in fact the current wallet.dat causing that issue ^ weird . Im not savvy enough to make full sense of it .......but morale of the story - keep a copy of ya private key and wallet.dat , multiple backups . Worst case scenarios like this if you didnt have them youd be screwed .. i could have lost 380k xcn if i was more noob than i already am lol . PEACE ^^

 Yay for xcn Smiley

yes, always have a recent backup, maybe also an encrypted copy of the private key(s).
you never know what could happen to the wallet db: hardware or software failure is always a possibility.

I'd like to setup a funding address for giveaways and bounties, and wish to know what you guys think.

This is the address which I've reserved for such use: CP6uhgcDnXzdgQhnz2q1xhSFMFinmqkQkh

Here some ideas for using the funds:

  • Classic twitter/social giveaways
  • Development bounties
  • Pools/explorers/other services
  • ......

If you guys agree I will post more details about the dev bounties (I already have a list of tasks) and put it all into the OP.

Of course we will need donors (I will be the first).
