well if that's the only way to reliably trade xcn, that deserves a dedicated FB account I guess.

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

All,
I have a question. I'm new to Novaexchange and last night I sold my 1300 cryptonite coins. The sell price I put in was 0.00002 BTC - but then something strange happened. It sold the first 40 cryptonite coins at a price of 0.00002BTC, the next 500 cryptonite coins at a lower price of 0.000018 BTC and the remainder for even lower than 0.000018 BTC - why does this happen ?  Surely, if there is ONE sell price that has been stated explicitly then why should different amounts be sold at different prices ?
I understand that buyers have put in buy orders - but it shouldn't matter because I the seller explicity stated the one price of 0.00002BTC - why should it make decisions to sell my coins at different prices ? Cry
Could someone please explain how the sell system at Novaexchange works, to avoid further embarrassment in the future.
Many thanks in advance.

so which exchange would you guys recommend to use if I was to start some trading?
I haven't traded any crypto coins ever in my live. Only been doing some mining here and there.

Which is easiest to get signed up for and to get coins in&out?

I use BTC38 and it's working fine for me.  And look at XCN volume there! Shocked

Are you able to withdraw BTC out from there?

Thanks, signing up Smiley

wtf, I need facebook to sign into btc38? What if I don't use FB?

What I advice you do is this - download the app QQi from Google Play (Hopefully there is a version for the Iphone too).
Create an account on the app.
Log in to BTC38.com using the chinese version.
Just scan the QR Code with your QQi app.
Then after logging in you can switch to the Wnglish version of page and you are still logged in.
Voila!

I think their thinking was QQ is popular for chinese and FB for English. So they used the API of both to do logins.

I think it fixed the price at which you will sell all your coins automatically. This the price for which there is buy support. You have to make sure that you set the price next time.

Does anyone know why the Suprnova pool keeps disconnecting and then reconnecting?  Also, any reason why I can't solo mine with more than (4) rigs?

Thanks

I've always been interested in openCL. But no time Smiley

About exchanges:
I just tested btc38 - generates no deposit address. Loading ... AND it doesn't support ssl. Ridiculous.
Also signed up on bter - they REALLY want me to send them a photo of me with my passport?!?! crazy!

So .. these are the only available options at the moment, hm?
I find it interesting that the exchanges try to get their hands on my actual personal information (FB/passport). So much about crypto currency anonymity. Also interesting that a facebook account seems to have the same validity as a passport - at least in china.

If anyone knows a solution how to get a deposit address on btc38, I guess I'll stick to that.
Anyone?

You just need to wait, they are fixing their wallet again.

Try this, it simply works:

Thank you for your quick response.
So what you are saying is, if I had clicked on the 'price' tab and manually entered a value, say 0.00002 BTC, it would have sold ALL the coins for that one price of 0.00002 BTC ?

Hmkay, thanks for the hint.
I guess I will have to wait then. Interestingly, BTC deposit address creation doesn't work either  Roll Eyes
