nu1mlock: do you have a wallet in each rig, or rigs connect to just 1 wallet?
I have one wallet per rig. I've also set up my bat files so that they would start mining to each others wallets in case one would crash. Also have another backup wallet just in case.

BTC38 has just been notified of the new wallet!
Thanks everybody for helping!
Great news! I'm hoping the new version will solve their problems. But I'm assuming that the people responsible for the wallets aren't working weekends?

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

I still can't believe they are running an exchange on windows, do they actually download windows .exe from a trusted source or how are they doing it?

Quick request on a side note:
Could someone please compile the new linux cli wallet with static linkage?
I'd still like to use that for my debian server (xcn-explorer.selektion21.de)

Thanks!

I've only tested sending 200 XCN to and from it. It worked just fine for that, but I haven't tried anything more than that.

Could you explain more on Unmalleable Transactions? Huh

Are you asking about what malleable transactions are or how xcn deals with the problem?

From the first post:
"Cryptonite is the first altcoin to feature unmalleable transactions, in order to avoid any repeat of such undesirable events and allow the transaction ID's to be reliable. This is achieved by having the sender sign the txid and by ensuring the txid will always change when the contents of the transaction changes."

I think it doesnt have to download the whole blockchain (whole history of transactions), only part of it. Takes less Hard Drive space.

It's super hard to know what the hell btc38 actually means. When asked if they had any update on the XCN situation now when they've been sent a new wallet that supposedly should fix their problem they said this:

Hello, xcn due to block network problems, has been suspended to mention. Please also be patient

I wish they could hire at least a single person that don't have to use Google translate to respond to their non-Chinese customers.

I: Hello. XCN wallet still not work. New version is released.https://github.com/pallas1/Cryptonite/releases
Network is fixed and no return to old date of blockchain.
btc38:Hello, I'm sorry XCN wallet is temporarily faulty, please wait for the wallet to resume after the operation, I wish you a happy life!
I did not even doubt that it would be so. We can forget about btc38.

Btc38 will work, sooner or later. They make a lot of money on xcn, that's why I think so. Can find a better argument? :-)

There are a lot of exchanges.  Why XCN is only on 2 Chinese exchanges?
If not bittrex or similar, why not cryptopia or at least nova?

XCN had 1M usd daily volume at btc38...  that´s why we want it back online! (not many coins have that volume, even the ones listed at Polo or Trex)

Wallet had problems before (I still have coins freezed at Poloniex) but now wallet has been fixed and its working fine. Maybe we are going be listed on new exchanges soon
