So it looks like we are going to hit the 1mil difficulty rate next week Tongue

Starting to doubt if I should still be mining, especially with more expensive electricity rates with Summer coming in....

Difficulty increasing 50% every 10 days while the exchange rate is on a downward trend.  Anyone starting mining now must calculate out their machine and electricity costs with the assumption that in 2 months time they will be generating 1/10th the bitcoins they can do today, with the current exchange rate.  Making $1 per PC per day profit doesn't sound too exciting.

Obviously not, everybody thinks they struck gold with their mining rigs and want to become millionares.

IS the difficulty rate increasing much faster than expected? Is this because of all the recent interest?

I've been mainly making money by buying BTC when the price drops, then selling when it rises, but it hasn't done that in a while Sad

I wish someone would sell off a load of coins, so that the price drops significantly. Come on, you know you want to Wink

Woot, price is down to just above $15 .... needs to drop some more
