This is great! Bitcoin is keep on reaching up high and i love it because it gives a lot of profit for us bitcoin users and also to those hodlers who hold their bitcoin for about months or even years and now they can sell it and take some good profits. And know let us consider that the value of the dollar is losing a bit every day. The amount of stuff we could have bought with the old ATH is bigger then the amount of stuff we can buy with the new ATH. We call it inflation and it is about 2% per year. To be the real new high we need to go even further up with the price. But those are just my two cents.

It is really good to have bitcoin in this state, which is never gets low to $800 again, I'm hoping that bitcoin will be stable $1000 per bitcoin, so that I have motivation on posting and doing signature campaign lol, though it is the truth.
Let's just hope that the bitcoin users in China won't DUMP their coins because it will really affect the current price of bitcoin.

That was on Mt. Gox. No one could sell at that price and get the money out. Hence, that is not considered.

There is no explanation. People will find thousand reasons why, but i think it is safe to say, that there is no logic involved. The price is high because there seems to be a high demand. As to why i wonder my self, because i see no real technical reason. These days many are speculation on the ETF approval.

i am agree that next price that we should reach is $1200 but we need more time before we can see that price. but i think like Taki said, there is always a correction for the price before its increase soon so its better for us to still follow the market and make profit from the different price. but i hope the fall is not to deep because if this is happen, then the price is getting hard to reach $12xx and we need to wait more longer.

It's good to see bitcoin price has reached almost 1200 dollars.Nowadays if you notice  you can find out bitcoin price is increasing daily by around 30 to 40 dollars.I am just thinking what will be it's price, by the end of this year? It may cross 5000 dollars definitely, if it's price is increasing at this pace provided if there is no intervention of any governments. And unfortunately it will be the end of all bitcoin faucets.

I think now their wont be possible as per the old news China is no more the real holder or bitcoin as their government have banned bitcoin trading for some time due to this they are not able to do anything in the market.

You're thinking about it backwards.  Price rise causes the increase in transactions.  Some people move their BTC to sell, some people take advantage of the opportunity to buy things and pay with BTC.

There is no "official", but Bitstamp is the best previous ATH of 1163, so keep watching Bitstamp prices for new ATHs.

The previous all time high value of bitcoin was recorded in November 2013, average price of $1,165.89 touched during those time and now it has once again broken every barriers and successfully moving forward and it is nearing $1200 when i last checked. If everything is allied in the right path we could see some new barriers and hopefully we would hear some good news by march 11.

I guess that's one way of looking at it.  But, it seems like if people we're selling off, it would drive the price down, and it seems like increased fees would reduce the frequency of smaller transactions which would then increase transaction speeds by reducing the stress on the mempool.  Maybe I'm going to have to think about it a little more.

Nothing wrong with cashing out a certain percentage of your profits, but the thing is that this rally or whatever you want to call it isn't going to stop yet. People that happen to sell all their coins at once will find themselves in a bad situation when they see that the price continues to go up higher. That's why it's important to just sell a small percentage and keep holding the rest for when the price goes up further. After that you can cash out another percentage and buy back at the time the price dumps.

Maybe it is different this time with the transaction limit pressure, but in previous rallies payment processors like bitpay have reported huge jumps in bitcoin transactions.  We'll have to wait and see how this plays out.
