...
Why do you post content like you've copied it from somewhere? This is annoying and not how the majority of users post in this forum, I mean this silly prepending lines with "> ". And if you're posting AI slop content without labeling it appropriately, you'd likely get flagged and/or banned, sooner or later. Anyway...

Can you name wallets that nowadays have RBF disabled by default?

I doubt there are many, since basically all mining pools have unconditional RBF enabled by default, because they've a financial incentive to do this.

You must be pertaining to "full-rbf".

Additionally, even without the opt-in rbf flag enabled,
there's still a good chance that the user can replace his unconfirmed transaction if it can get to peers and miners that accept such replacement.

Although, it'll require advanced knowledge or familiarity with the command line in some clients/wallets.
But definitely doable as long as its self-custodial.

Yes, I meant full-RBF. Is there actually any evidence that there's any mining pool that doesn't accept valid replacement transactions? I don't think so.

I'm pretty sure that a valid RBF replacement transaction can be successfully submitted e.g. via mempool.space's Broadcast Transaction or similar well connected services like this.

I think so, too. In my opinion wallet software shouldn't prevent a user to assemble a valid replacement transaction, regardless of the RBF setting or if RBF is opted-out for a to-be-replaced transaction. At least, allow this as an advanced option.

I wonder how long e.g. this small "donation" to Genesis block will remain unconfirmed. My node's mempool first saw it 2026-09-03T08:14:04Z, more than 7 weeks ago.
