Hello,

I am new to this and now understand that initially I should have used a higher fee with my transaction now at this point. What happened is I tried to send a transaction on Monday to my BitPay wallet. It went with no confirmations for exactly 48 hours and was removed from my transaction history on BlockChain and the Bitcoins were back in my account. I was out of the country when I tried the initial transaction so I was thinking that had something to do with it which now that I do some research realize it has nothing to do with it. So yesterday I tried to resend to my BitPay wallet and it got stuck in confirmation again (once again I know now to send with higher fees). Over night the transaction from Monday appears to have rebroadcasted. So now I am showing a double spend.

What are my options? Will I mess everything up if I try and accelerate one of the transactions?

Lastly, every time I had send something to BitPay the transaction showed up as pending in my BitPay account as it was incoming. The first transaction did that on Monday and then went away after 24 hours of no confirmations. The second transaction I listed that I tried yesterday after the funds were put back into my account never generated a pending incoming transaction.

Hopefully this is enough detail for some assistance.

Because you already attempted an RBF double spend, I don't think the miners will be able to help you here.

Part of the problem here is that your RBF transaction still does not pay a high enough fee. You will have to go more than double that amount in order to be considered anywhere near sufficient.

As for the original transaction being rebroadcast, since anyone can rebroadcast a transaction, there isn't anything you can do about it. Someone probably runs a node which will automatically rebroadcast transactions.

That's probably your best option right now, unless you want to attempt yet another double spend transaction.

If the transaction goes away like it did on Monday, should I push the only pending one using the transaction accelerator before it gets rebroadcasted?
