You just have to look and watch the market and graphics movements on the altcoin you're going to trade, and you better start with altcoins that have active movement. For the most part yes. There are some indicators that will help you see when the time to buy is, but the time to sell is hard to predict.

The time to buy is when something is as a low. A low of that week or that month. Most crypto go down 2 to 4 times every month to a lot lower price due to people dumping their coins after the pump.

I don't think that trading is just educated guessing because if you are a true trader, you will not just guess what will be the price or the move of a particular cryptocurrency coin because you will do a lot of research and a lot of analyzation because that is how you things can be done especially the decisions that you will make in your trading journey great.

Trading is much more on managing ang decision making so if you want to start trading you must know the basics such buying when it is low and selling when it is high. It not actually a guessing rather it is analazation with basis. And the basis you may have is the price itself where you need to monitor it on a graph or on the market gap. In trading if its only just educated guessing partly you will lose money. It required analyzation of the market and you were right there is need to manage decision in order for us to gain profit. Also, there is a need to read such info about the particular cryptocurrency you were traded on so can be updated of the market movement.

At some point I was under the illusion that its only an educated guessing but now, I know better that beyond that educated guessing there is more to it which is buying with the right information. When one does is analysis tracing historical records, or market capitalization, volume and other trends that could signal an action to be taken but without doing it intelligently in understanding that those analysis could be artificial as a result of maniupuations then that's worse than gambling.

Correct, trading crypto currencies is not an educated guessing. Trading is not a joke that we should be serious about it because it is about the money that we have work hard for . A single click can already make a big difference in the amount or profit that you could have earned. Studying and learning how the market will be very helpful for all of us because we will be aware of the things happening in the market and the things that might happen in the market. We all know how all crypto currencies are volatile that each of them have a different time for pump and dump.

Insider? Are you talking about information leaks? I think it is impossible, because the value of a currency changes because of the market, no one is strong enough to adjust the value, so trader generates profits because of their ability, they needn't insider.

Agree, we need to have the skills and experience, it is not simply buying and selling, we have to rely on a lot of factors to make the decision final. Insider information, it is not always correct, it can also be a trap and if we always believe in insider information, we will certainly fail in trading, we always need a process of analysis to determine the information is true or false. This is a battlefield, we can not believe anyone, we have to rely on our ability

I do agree that trading is just educated guessing because in the end of the day you'll will see predict the possible move of the candlestick in the chart that you are observing and it is part of guessing so i think if we will talk about trading then it is both learning and studying the market and also guessing and predicting the possible outcome of the chart.

I guess you could not say that trading is just a guess because trading involves risks and no one will like to invest and to encounter risk with not having any backup ideas or knowledge about where you are investing. An investor is a risk taker because he is brave enough to invest even though it involves some problems ahead but ofcourse an investor must be determinated, must give time, exert effort and must be alert and bright about the investment he is going to make.

Risks are always part of any guess-works, right ? If you agree trading has risks and for solving those risks we are using various prediction methods then predictions are derived version of guess work based on few scientific methodologies and mathematical calculations. But practically market movements are decided my traders likes and dislikes hence we cannot be sure those scientific methodologies and mathematical calculations are enough for handling trader's physiological preferences.

True. It takes more than what we think in order to do that, in order to predict the flow of the game ( and even youve consider a lot of stuff there's no guarantee that it will be 100%0. Some people thought especially newbies that trading is easy because they thought that it's just guessing. Well some traders spent hours blankly just to have a right choice on their trade and some are reading some articles and speculations and the coin can bring before making an action. There's no such thing as a perfect trader and sometimes they don't know what to do because sometimes all the alts is going down and it's really painful to see all the reds.
There is no guarantee because there is one thing that is unpredictable, it is the emotions and decision of people in when to sell and buy.

Yes. To a extend its an educated guess because the price is driven on speculation. Skills and timing should work together to make trading a profitable thing. But you have to learn how everything works, like reading the market trends, the latest news before coming to a conclusion whether to sell now because the market doesn't look promising or just buy or hold for sometime and wait for another indicator that the price will go up and quickly sell if and go out before the price could go down again.

Doesn't matter unless and until you have studied the market completely. Insider info, well not everyone had it and most important still propel earn big profits in the trades. This is just personal instincts that makes man perfect in every situation. Whether it's trading or investing you should always study everything by yourself and make the trade accordingly. With little success at first you will gain more confidence, with second one you will gain credibility and with third you will be decision maker dude. That's the way it should go.
