Generally we have standard bitcoin exchanges like: Kraken, Bitfinex, Gemini, OkCoin, Bitstamp. Peer to peer trading platforms like: localbitcoins or paxful. Decentralized exchanges, - I believe there is currently only one operational - Bitsquare
On top of that you can arrange individual trades with traders met online.
Just word of advice - don't use Credit Card or PayPal to buy coins, these options are 5-15% more costly than main exchanges price.

There is nothing worst then using a centralized website where providing your ID and personal info is a must. I personally would prefer with ATMs or trading with individuals on some forums. Exchanges are only an option when the price is currently increasing and you need a fast way to sell and make profit.

I prefer in trading sites, Why? Because many people tried and tested the site, so it is legit. I'm not buying peer to peer because I have fear in scammer. Bitcointalk sites, I will try if the trading site is Offline. I don't know if there are any platforms to buy bitcoin.

There are loads of exchanges other than Lbtc that can be used to buy Bitcoins. I prefer Bitstamp as I'm also able to day trade on it. Some others include Bitfinex, Kraken, Zebpay, Coinbase etc. These are the trusted exchanges and apps that buy/sell BTC.

See there are many platforms that sell bitcoin but the platforms that I have tried and felt reliable are-
1)LocalBitcoins can be described as less of an exchange and more as a platform where individual bitcoin buyers and sellers from all over the world can find each other
2)A trading-focused bitcoin service provider, Kraken appeals to bitcoin traders as you can leverage and even short on the platform. They are very reputable and was one of the first bitcoin exchanges to pass an independent audit.
3)BitStamp is a favorite due to its ability to accept bitcoin purchase with credit or debit cards. Users can also withdraw bitcoins as physical gold – a novelty not offered by any other bitcoin exchanges in this list.
4)BitQuick is all about speed. How it operates is similar to LocalBitcoins where you buy and sell from other individuals. Buying bitcoins will incur 2% fee. However selling bitcoins are free.
5)E-Coin is included in this list as they allow indirect bitcoin purchase with PayPal, which is rare. You can also buy bitcoins with PayPal with other services such as Paxful or VirWox – both options incur higher fees.

You can try to buy from this very forum. There are plenty of people looking to sell bitcoins for other forms of fiat, like paypal, western union, etc. Another way is to use paxful, that is similar to localbitcoins just be careful there are plenty of scammers there, but since you are the one buying, it would probably be easier.

What I did before, if the option is available to you, is that you buy into some trading platform, like kraken or poloniex, I think they have a way to deposit money into then using fiat. Then you trade your fiat for bitcoins then cash out. It's quite secure to use these platforms, I am just not to sure with the fees if they were that expensive.

If you actually believe that your information's are not being used by a third party then you should think twice. You also start by simply providing your ID and you finish up by getting your account closed for some reason or having legal issues just coinbase got them lately. It's just a matter of time until bitcoin gets fully regulated and people won't like what's gonna happen If they don't control their private keys.

It is a matter of time when every government will have a regulation to have a "know-your-customer" policy in place for every exchange or platform using bitcoins. But as of now that would not be the case and there would really be little the governments can do right now to regulate the bitcoin services.

I've heard of people getting scammed on the site and people often sold blackhat methods describing how to make money by scamming buyers on localbitcoins. I've never personally used the site, but from what I've heard about it I think I'd stay away. Again, take my info with a grain of salt.

I think that is kind of naive, companies will sell your information to anyone that bids enough money, people are so used to give their personal information they have been indoctrinated to give it away like it is nothing but the truth is that information is very valuable that is why every business wants to get their hands on it.

Does that service is maintaining any announcement and support topic here in this forum ? I tried to find any of them, but I am not finding anything. It is always recommended to use the services which are being recommended by this forum members. I have not seen any good rank people are suggesting this services. When using a less popular site, the chances for getting scammed is always more. Remember that and do not fall and make others fall.

It is indeed fun, but in the bitcoin is not the right place if it is done or an imperative obligation provide ID or personal info. Because indirectly bitcoin still don't have security that can guarantee the confidentiality of our personal data in the platform. It would be better to use the bitcoin with anonymous and get a good profit in it. because the bitcoin is not a suitable place for that sort of thing

I've seen from the webpages ads that paypal is one of the platform that sells bitcoin nowadays, and it really brought many people gains interested to buy btc just for investing in altcoins trading which mostly popular in the marketplace forum. That platform would possibly be in demand of people specially whrn bitcoin soars higher in demand for anyone that really agressive to have btc holdings in their respective wallets.

I can suggest you few exchanges if you are from India. If you are from India , you can use Unocoins, coinsecure or zebpay. I use coinsecure and Unocoins always. All the three exchanges are good and I buy bitcoins by depositing money in their bank account through checks. Internet Banking is also there, but I prefer checks.

Well there are a lot of platforms that sells bitcoins. You can also try to buy with yobit and also you can try to buy with kraken and as well as with xapo. It just depend on how you are satisfied with the service of these sites but I do have my very own local exchange but that is only applicable here in my country.

Agree it LBC is the best ever place i know to sell and buy from the traders around the world. Price value might fluctuating in the value if trader buying or selling for 1 btc. Please verify the trader's trust and feedback to know about him. Then proceed trade with him. Normally they higher cost then the price chart amount.

Which platforms do you prefer to buy Bitcoin? Generally, trade sites, localbitcoins and bitcointalk sites are used. Are there any platforms you buy bitcoin besides these?
There are several sites to sell and buy bitcoin depending on how strict the financial system of the country is. Over here, we have several options to pick from but one just need to be a bit careful not to fall in the hands of scammers who will collect your Fiat with the disguise of you to get bitcoin and you wont even see either of the two. Aside that, we also have a forum where you can deal directly with individuals with the use of Escrows as well.

Though we have lots of bitcoin exchange and trading websites, localbitcoins gives the convenience and the best price than other trading platforms. Isn't localbitcoins not super safe to use? I've heard of people getting scammed on the site and people often sold blackhat methods describing how to make money by scamming buyers on localbitcoins. I've never personally used the site, but from what I've heard about it I think I'd stay away. Again, take my info with a grain of salt. Localbitcoins is not 100% safe site. Many people have their offers there and few of the scammers are also there giving better rates than others just to scam after getting the money. The best ways is to contact the seller face to face if he is in your city else select the most trusted seller/ buyer even if you have to pay or spend a little more

It too has flaws, providing path to scammers and hackers get into it and make the profit out of it. I personally experienced it losing a big number and if the same continues the reputation will be lost easily. Rather than this the service provided is simply perfect.

Which platforms do you prefer to buy Bitcoin? Generally, trade sites, localbitcoins and bitcointalk sites are used. Are there any platforms you buy bitcoin besides these? [/quote There is Remitano. www.remitano.comAccess it on www.remitano.cn if in china. Cheaper than localbitcoins and half the transaction fee. check and give some comments here. They are not legit thus reliable to use a credit card with if they do accept them. The ones I know of are bitpanda (use to be called coinimal), coinmama (I think it's called something else now/rebranded?) and another one that doesn't come to mind. Most of them are located in the EU so they are not available to people in the states. It all depends on what way your going to be purchasing your bitcoins with.

I usually use local forums. Trade with trusted people. I dont trust web sites. Only trust honest people who i know before. If i have a history with a guy so trade can be easy.
Selling bitcoin websites lookin cold for me. Some of sites needs lots of things and lots of fees. I hate procedures.
Its so easy with a reliable guy. Send money take btc. Easy peasy. No procedure.

My best platform to buy bitcoin is only zebpay but if you are from the country different from India then the best exchange to buy bitcoin is only local bitcoins . Because in the beginning when the bitcoin was of 4-5 years age then at that times local bitcoins was main platform to make buy and sell And also currently local bitcoins is a big platform to make deals manually with escrow without risk .

For some it is convenient. If I were you, I will not risked my BTC to exchange with other person with no escrow or any midman present in the transaction. Nowadays, even the most reputable person can scam (if he wanted to). But I'm not saying that in the sense to make you loose trust on the reputable persons here in the forum since there are lots of them you can trust. But if you are comfortable with that kind of transaction, we can't prevent you from doing that. Just be sure to always check the reputation of the person you will trade to prevent or lessen the risk of scam. And as much as possible, hire an escrow (for the safety of both) if transacting with someone.

Some people buy on forum, which could be risky, some on exchangers, some on ATMs but I would recommend localbitcoins. For me it's the most convenient and also reliable place to buy Bitcoins. There you can find a trader from your country, even local community, and easily agree the transaction. You can also buy Bitcoins on blockchain if you use their wallet.

Wherever, you can sell any products via payment as bitcoin. Simply use any escrow available in the forum or any other platform. Even in localbitcoins also when you are selling out your bitcoins. Automated escrow has been used. Once you are confirmed that you received the payment from the trader, you release it and after you release it. you may find the escrow in above the page of Localbitcoins.

There are also a site called bitify. It is a Bitcoin and Litecoin Marketplace. It is somewhat the same as Localbitcoins. They also have an automatic escrow with a fee to pay every transaction. A lot of goods both digital or physical is present and any other bitcoin related products can be found there. Now, in terms of buying and selling bitcoins to fiat or vice versa. It depends on the country which would they prefer. All wallets can also act as a platform for buying and selling a certain crypto-currency. Just like in Philippines (our country) we are using Coins.ph in every transactions we are doing as it allows us to convert BTC into PHP (our currency). In other country they uses trading platforms such as poloniex, C-cex and others to buy/sell Bitcoin.

There are a lot of them out there and the split is between decentralised exchanges and centralised exchanges mainly. Decentralised exchanges include: Localbitcoins Paxful Bitcointalk These sites merely provide a way for people to communicate or hold funds in escrow. Centralised exchanges include OKCoin, Huobi, Coinbase, etc. etc. I wouldn't really favour the centralised exchanges, even though they may seem convenient. Coinbase literally requires you to open up your webcam and verify yourself on camera live. Which i find a bit daunting.

Aside from the stated platform, there are lots of site where we can buy Bitcoin. It is a good thing in my country that there are several platform that sells bitcoin, to name some of them are coins.ph, rebit.ph localbitcoin and more. Among those I always use coins.ph, we just need to put a buy order, printout the detail and pay it in remittance outlet or convinient store.

Yup, it does everything can be done in the bitcoin. But for every product I guess only a few are willing to accept bitcoin as payment, because most users are more concerned with price advantage bitcoin bitcoin compared turnover or transaction request bitcoin. It is indeed profitable, but I don't think it will be beneficial for the long term. Because wherever any growth and triumph of something comes from the large number of requests.

Localbitcoins could be your best bet if your country does not have any exchange like in ours. In the Philppines, we have an exchange were we can buy directly from them using cash methods like bank transfers and money remittances like western union and other similar ways. The cost is quite lower than localbitcoin sellers and buyers.

Nowadays, we have a really big number of exchanges, where we can use our money to buy different currencies or altcoins, all that depends on the type of the exchange. Many people have been using Bitfinex, but they have suspended the wire deposits now, so people are panicly trying to get out of this exchange. I can also suggest you using Poloniex, Kraken or Bitstamp.
But if you are looking for peer to peer way to buy a bitcoin, then you can try with localbitcoins.com or paxful. I think one of this options will satisfy you, most of them do not suffer for any issues.
