Just make a simple calculation to figure out that this would never happen.

There will be 21,000,000 Bitcoins x 100,000,000 Satoshi what is 2,100,000,000,000,000 Satoshi at maximum. Divided through approx. 10 billion people in 2140, this would be a average wealth of $210,000 of each human-being in the world.

Not to mention the technical side. You have to pay at least 1 Satoshi (=$1) in fee. Nobody would accept those high fees.

Quite simple, we will need various denomination after satoshi , it could be milisatoshi? Etc
The scenario such as this one is anticipatef already since long time ago.
As this matter is a basic issue about currency, nothing to worry.

If you know how bitcoin's price is determined, than simply that seems impossible nowdays. That means everyone will go and sell their bitcoin for 1 dollar. I say that impossible because now people wants to get rised bitcoin.

If one Satoshi is to be valued at 1 USD, then I guess a lot of us here will be very rich. I am getting so many Satoshi for making this post while wearing BitMixer signature tag. Well, however I really doubts if anyone of us will be able to enjoy those coins when the hypothetical scenario really happen - it may happen, but probably not in our lifetime, or when we are old.

On the business/economy side, there will be two after-scenarios.

1. Bitcoin become an investment scheme
2. Bitcoin become the world's currency.

I hope for the latter as I do not want to see Bitcoin becoming just an investment tool. I wish to see Bitcoin as a form of currency.

To reach $20-$50k itself not realistic, because if something gets a much increased value compared to all the currencies as well investment assets the system should be able to give cent percent outcome which is not possible. If you consider gold one can assure with its value backed system that the growth might happen.

Have to agree. If we get this much confidence in bitcoin, I feel we would be using other cryptos, and the total market capitalization wouldn't be so focused on bitcoin (or whatever happened to her the price so high). Also, fees become an issue at this point, if it's feasible to send a single satoshi (hell, it's worth a buck) will we need sub satoshi bitcoin values to address the fees? Even at a one satoshi fee, we are looking at a 100 percent commission on transactions, which is absolute insanity.

It is not impossible to happen, though it might take some time before this thing going to happen. OP was just trying to have our thoughts about this, because it is really great if this dream will come true, this could make us millionaires or even billionaires if we are holding large amount of bitcoins. If the SEC will approved bitcoin ETF, let's just say that they gave it another shot, then it will surely happens that 1 satoshi will become $1, and the bitcoins price would continue to rise until it reach its highest peak.

Exactly, me too it is in favor to me. That would be great and everyone will be rich then. I do not have 1btc but lots of satoshi.

What if bitcoin gains much more value than you anticipate? So what happens when 1 satoshi reaches the price of 1 dollar?
What kind of arrangement is made if payment is requested as Cent? Can the bitcoin core be modified?

If that should happen, then it equally means 1btc has increased to another extremely high position which I feel it wont get to that without attracting attention that might want  to curtail such influence. However, if that eventually happens then we should be ready to pay for a $1000 for transactions fee or even more than that.

well this is just a mere speculation, but if it's turn to a reality then Bitcoin owner will be billionaires and people will pay more attention to faucets in getting satoshi. Then Bitcoin will gain more popularity universally as people are showing more in it daily.

Faucets wont exist on those days for sure since even giving out satoshi per claim its really worth it and people who hold bitcoin wouldnt plan to build one because $1 is too much for each claim on a faucet. There would be lots of millionaires in that case and even those who just hold 0.01 btc is considered millionaire.

If satoshi is equivalent to $1 then most of people here will not work anymore. They can become rich on a very easy way by selling the bitcoins they've got. And I wish that this will happen very soon so that I can buy the things that I keep on dreaming on. Most of the bitcoin users will be rich enough and have a decent life to live.

You will be rich, I will be rich, mostly people from here  and few others. In this case current faucet prize at 200 satoshis per claim would be equivalent to 200 dollars in some moment in future. From this angle we cam became rich just from faucets.
Who knows when will this happen, price needs to be 100 millions for one btc, that even sounds impossible, but if that happen bitcoin code can be broken to more decimals, maybe we should try to create new name for new smallest bitcoin unit.

Basically all of us who are into bitcoin will become rich. Even there are a lot that aren't getting enough bitcoin / mBTC then most of us will be rich on the easiest and fastest way that way. I'm waiting for this day to happen and if that happens then there's no need to think about where we should get the money that we need to spend and buy our needs.

My opinion on this is divided, it can happen or it may not happen. I don't think that this will happen for now and for the next years. But it can possible to happen but that needs a longer time and there's no certain day when it will happen.

For a satoshi to go $1, even in our dreams, we need to assume Bitcoins to be reaching more than a billion dollar a piece.
Do you really think that would be possible ever? No arrangements are ever needed because even speculators can't speculate a bitcoin's price to ever be reaching even a million dollars, and you are talking about a billion here?
