I keep reading threads about how BTC price will reach $5k in 2 years or $11k in 3 years. If this happens, I know we ll all be very happy. However, if this happens, we should all immediately start collecting every satoshi we can starting with BTC transaction fees.

So, what do you use that s reliable, cheap and online. I use Bitgo, a very reliable and its online, it s fast but it s NOT cheap.

Please share your experience.

Thx

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I don't understand what you mean. Why do you want to have any coins in online exchanges anyway? they aren't safe. You should keep your coins in your local wallet. Ideally Bitcoin Core so you are running a node and helping segwit, and you also have coin control, and control the fee, even tho recommended fee is recommended, or you risk it getting stuck.

I dont really understand your question anyway.

Well, I don't think you can get both "cheap" and "fast" because the higher the fees are, the faster the transaction will get confirmed. I use btc.com and I'm really satisfied, my transaction always go through fast enough and I consider the fees are not that high (never paid anything more then 0.0005 BTC) but again everything is based on the calculations done on the size of the transaction.

Bitgo is not accepted everywhere and they charge standard % fee on transaction so to send bigger amount you will end up paying very high fee than in normal bitcoin transaction of same amount of bitcoin.

I am currently using blockchain.info wallet (both mobile and web) and i can set fees to whatever i want.

If you search for online wallets then there are some all over the world with more or less same features. You can get the more complete comparison table I found in the web here. In addition I would like to mention that transaction fees are completely independent from you wallet. Inputs and outputs like as network overload are some factors that affect the fees. A very good guide about the calculation of the fees and the frequent problem about unconfirmed transactions can be found in the forum.

In Blockchain wallet you can set lower transaction fees, let say 0.0001 BTC in manual, BTC transfer will arive in ~ 24 hours. So this is easy and simple way how to avoid transaction fees.

It's not like they are going to pay the fee for you, low transaction fees is a feature of most web wallets, I'm sure when price reaches $5k we'll no longer need to pay any more than 0.00005 or 0.0001 it's not about the data any more and is about the exchange price. blockchain.info is one of the best ones.

I too feel comfortable using blockchain.info wallet. To my view it has got the lowest transaction fee as well the fastest confirmation than other online web wallet. These days bitcoins confirmation is taking place unlike the wallet service provider.

I have been using a wallet as of now which charges a flat rate for the month or the year depending on how much you use it, would justify the price and length of the plan you pay for (in bitcoin by the way Wink ).
Do as many transactions as you want for free for $9.95 a month is a pretty sweet deal if you do a crap load of sending with in a month.
I haven't did the yearly thing because it is after a web wallet so as everyone knows you don't hold alot of coins in these things thus do not rely on it and a with in a year from now they could be gone before the subscription term ends. Undecided

For me Coinbase works. You can do entirely free transactions with Coinbase. And the most fascinating part, transactions get confirmed within an hour.
Blockchain is good too. With fees approx. 0.0003~ transactions go on speedy mode. And if btc goes to $10k, we would surely see decrease in fees!

I've been using blockchain.info for more than a year now and pretty happy with it. Never tried Coinbase, but it sounds interesting. So you say one can make an entirely free transaction with it, but what are the conditions? Small amount of BTC? And when you say free, you mean no fees at all, no nothing?

Coinbase is the one of the fews that doesn't charge any fees. It's supported by them. Never understood why they take the fees in charges. Cryptopay as well.
I prefer to use Coinbase for small transaction and Cryptopay when i want the cash in hands and use the deebt card I own from them

I hold my bitcoins on Blickchain online wallet, but all procedure of cashing out my bitcoins takes around 10%. I really loose a lot now and with higher price it's gonna be higher money. So I'm also would like to find a way for myself with lower fees as possible.

I know what you're talking about. That's why I always cash out as little as possible. Not only because of the fees, but because BTC price is rising and if you take your money out, you cut yourself of future profits and I don't like that. But if has nothing to do with Blockchain.info and its fees

Coinbase is completely free online bitcoin wallet. Yeah, they have many haters because they don't give your private keys, they don't allow gambling related transactions and also may ask for identity verification. Oh, I also forgot to mention Xapo, it works similar like Coinbase, but as I know they allow gambling related transactions. But their support is slow. These wallets are only options if you want to save some btc on transaction fees.
I didn't used many other online bitcoin wallets recently. But mostly of them have quite similar fees.
You have to pay fees if you want fast transaction.

How is it possible there s an online wallet completely without transaction fees? Who pays fees then?
