LTC on GOX

So! Now that it seems MtGox might have committed a crime (misrepresented information about their bank account to the government- if you want a source just check the bitcoin discussion part of the forum, it's all there) how close to zero do people think are the chances of LTC getting added now?

It's not really a time to be happy or to prove to be right, it's very serious situation for cryptocurrency in general. If BTC and LTC crash heavily, the whole crypto community will.

BTC != LTC. LTC crashing won't affect BTC.

also, 'the price will be above $5 within 1 month of that happening' - how long does the price have to be above $5? (a day, a week? i.e. not a transient spike)

Yeah, but Im asking to adjust the timeframe to August 1st due to Gox's massive problems of late. And yes, it just has to spike over $5 for a second.

I still think its a good bet, but Im not betting hundreds of LTC, maybe a few dozen for fun, because I love gambling and I think Gox stands to make a ton of profit by adding LTC... PM me.

I wasn't aware of the bet, but I think adjusting it by a month probably won't fly with the bettor. However, I'd be curious to know...

I checked for a reply for while, then didn't see you'd come back. I'd also still bet 50ltc on your original terms, even with a spike to $5 on gox. I won't (and can't) hold you to it, but surely you can see the irony of justifying a change of bet terms on the basis of exactly what the bet is about?!

I didn't know there was a gambling subforum here. That's also a little ironic.
