There are many who are engaged in bitcoin mining. There are people mining in different countries.
How many miners can we learn in total? Can we find the number of miners according to the countries?

"In a nutshell, the network works like a distributed timestamp server, stamping the first transaction to spend a coin. It takes advantage of the nature of information being easy to spread but hard to stifle." -- Satoshi

It's not possible to get the right number, I read a few statistics before[1][2] so I suggest checking them out.

How many miners can we learn in total? Can we find the number of miners according to the countries?

The only way we can have a data on the number of miners is to check all mining pools. This way we can count the number of miners as well as the hashpower they are using and it will still depend on the company if they will leak out the data. On the other hand there is no tool or device that we can count the solo miners that has small number of mining rigs operating. So in totality we cannot get the overall actual number of miners there is.

you can not find the exact answer to that question. because, currently, Bitcoin has not been anyone to manage, so, the miners do not need to declare information or register to do business. Everything they are not public, so we can not check and know the exact number. only a few countries in all mandatory taxes, so that only those countries recently launched accurate information

This is true and even though there are regulated mining operations but still there are farms that have not yet been considered or known thats why we cant really put an exact number on how many miners globally. Those charts posted above arent accurate enough to tell since its just an estimate.

We can estimate the total number of miners by checking mining pools but sometimes those data that they estimate has been less accurate. It is hard to know the exact number of miners as much as to know the exact number of people sending bitcoin over network due to its anonymity.

That is a hard question indeed, you can only see the estimated mining pools and not the exact number of people that are mining bitcoin, just like users in bitcoin it is totally anonymous, but I think is is better to not know the exact number we should just get on with the flow of things any way the value of bitcoin is getting really high!

Yes, in fact i think we can estimate number of miners more than having exact number of them around countries.  Smiley
