So when would it be safe to sell SPR? As soon as we see block 1644100 in the Explorer? 
Because karmashark said something that it could Take a few days after the snapshot.

He said that the given blockheight is only a indicator when the snapshot will be taken.
And it is possible for a change, if the exchanges need more time

He is under contract not to say until an agreement is made. However, before the non-disclosure agreement, Bittrex was the one.

I believe we will.  However the general expectation is SPR will rapidly become worthless after Helium is rolled out.

EDIT: Sorry, missed the part about keeping coins in Bitrex.  It's unknown which exchange will be used at this point.  If it's not Bitrex, you'll have to move them to swap.

There hasn't been an update yet regarding that. I would suggest keeping them in your local wallet & that way you won't have to move anything around last minute if something changes.

Hi @everyone We have been asked to create a little more time for the snapshot by the exchange.

We have internally agreed to move the snapshot date back (again). Before giving you a date, we want everyone involved in the snapshot and launch process to confirm what works for them. It is looking like 10 days breathing space has been requested, so we'll do what we can to get a block height.

As you know, we are prepared to take a copy of the blockchain this week. We may turn that into a release of a test download so you can check how it looks in a single download.

What can I say, other than to apologise. Moving dates back has mostly been out of our hands, but I think you all appreciate that we have formed relationships with third parties and we want to work with them not back them into corners.

There are something like 1,300 cyrpto projects out there and millions of new faces. The crypto eco-systems are busier than they have ever been and it's getting busier each day.

I have had an increasing number of messages from people in full panic mode about the snapshot date as it gets closer. For those people, a little breathing space will be welcome.

No sweat. I got nervous a couple of weeks ago with delays and no communication, but I know the realities of software development and dealing with 3rd parties at the same time. Exchanges are pretty busy lately what with the SEC bombshell and lots of ICO's, so it's no surprise to me they need more time. Thank for the update.

Since this is my first MN coin, I would appreciate if someone with a bit more experience (not necessarily you, @coins101) took the time to put together a primer on how to compile and deploy the demon on a VPS and how to get it to talk to the wallet. That would be awfully helpful - and if I can help in any way like running a test compilation on a test net, just say the word.

At launch, this will be a Dash clone. It will be just like Dash with the same masternode and treasury system. It will be very different as time goes on. Its purpose isn't like Dash, which seeks to be a main digital payment system for the masses. Helium will add another type of node called the service node. The details aren't available yet like how much collateral. If you choose to operate a service node, you will run a server and be rated on performance. Allowing customers to see your reviews and rent your node with Helium. They have full blockchain supported, fully 256 bit encrypted, decentralized node service to protect their data. They do not need an IT team with full access to maintain the nodes, they can give only the level of access needed. Essentially getting the best data protection in the world, blockchain based.

Since it's a Dash clone, it will be the same. Just have 1000 Helium, use the wallet and a VPS or home PC to set up the masternode. Same democratic system and everything. It's not exclusive, anyone with collateral can set it up.

and this is not an ICO (in the sense that coin tokens  will not ,i believe , be initially offered for sale. )
they will be airdropped to spreadcoin holders on a 1 to 1 basis.
