if mr average continues to be able to afford one whole coin then that means it's not fulfilling its potential. maybe $10,000 is possible by 2020-25. for that to be truly life changing in a first world country you could do with a minimum of 200 so it's already unattainable.

Then it may be a better idea to put some money behind some promising altcoins and wait for a big pump to happen then we sell our coins and finally with the profits buy bitcoin, it is a long term plan but it is the best I can come up with.

first of all saying "get rich with bitcoin" is stupid and wrong. if you are in it just to make more fiat and get the hell out, you have already failed to know what bitcoin is.

secondly, stop thinking 1 whole bitcoin. there is nothing called bitcoin there is only satoshi you are buying 100,000,000 satoshi and that amount is expensive so buy less satoshi. and if profit is all you care about think of it this way: you missed buying low and you are still missing buying higher than before but still low. in a year or so you will look back and say i missed buying super cheap the day i made that topic

So so true.. There were people talking about the same thing last year also and it'll be there in the coming one's. Stop seeing Bitcoin as an investment. It's much better than that. If you are a long term holder then buying would be a great idea right now.. As much as you wait, it'll be a loss for you only.

I don't think about getting rich from the price of bitcoin and quantity of the same. I decided long time ago that I will use bitcoins as a currency, and that didn't change until now. I don't have any ideas about how much bitcoins I need, I gamble and I'm trying to make more every single day on poker table, or slots, sometimes dices, roulette and other games.
Price is getting higher but that is what we hopping for a long time, and why you sound surprised now? We hope that price will go even higher.

buying bitcoin will never make you rich, working and earning money and using your time and that money wisely makes you rich. otherwise you can buy many bitcoins and hold them for years and with the price rise make a lot of profit but never be rich.

and besides an upper middle class American or European doesn't have to buy 1 full bitcoin today, he can gradually invest by buying small portions. like 0.1-0.25BTC each month and moving it to cold storage for long term hodling.

The word "RICH" is a very subjective word and this depends on the preference of the person that's using it. If you are going to ask me, I'll be able to say that I'm rich if I have 100BTC in the years that you specified. We don't know what will happen on those years but I believe in the capability of BTC . There is a very high chance that its price will increase more in 2020 to 2025.

There is no require or fixed amount of bitcoin that you needed in order to be rich in 2020 or 2025 because it doesn't matter if you only got 1 bitcoin, the only matters is how can you grow that bitcoin and also save some bitcoin for long term because if you do that two things then it will be easier for you to be rich in 2020 or even earlier.

This exactly. Depending on what your definition of rich is, you don't have to buy 1 whole bitcoin to be rich. But then again, you don't have to own any bitcoin or satoshi to be rich.

If the rising trend of bitcoin continues till 2020-2025,BTC price would be $10k per bitcoin.Also if $ keep its strong position in international market,I think even 5 btc would be enough for one to be rich.
It also depends on which country you live in.

Although that price may seem to high to reach by 2025 bitcoin only needs to keep growing at a rate of 2.24% per month to reach that target of 10k, so it is not that far out of reach especially if adoption grows rapidly.

As much bitcoin as I can get. I cannot give you an exact amount because I know that if ever I reach that amount, the greedy me will just kick in and say "that is not enough". So I will work hard and get as much bitcoin that I can while I can still afford to buy one.
