If the price reaches an insane price point then I can definitely understand that certain people will cash out profits. That's why traders play this game.

But they also know that if they do sell, and the ETF does happen to get accepted, that they miss out on far greater profits. It's basically a double edged sword situation for people that cash out.

I've red somewhere that the price change could have something to do with the taxes that have to be filled in in many countries next month, maybe we'll see alot of investors/traders cashing out after that, causing a large drop in price. I'm not sure.

That is the most common thinking when there is a continous price increase, doubting that bitcoin price will never experience decrease for at least days or weeks but sometimes it doesn't the real score happen. If ever $1,500 will reached and will have some same situation like the current one, then another statement that no doubt bitcoin price will not decrease will build again.

Above all of this, we must open for all the possibilities, good or bad, since news or FUDS are nothing if the community will not respond. Basically price increase are upon the respond of the community and not directly with the news itself.

I am glad to see that the price is increasing and i hope it wont crumble when the ETF is not approved and i really would be disappointed if the price breaks below the thousand dollar mark.I am enjoying the perks of my savings and i am waiting for the news to determine whether to book my profit or not,hope everything goes well.

Hope we will break more records and the price of bitcoin keeps on moving forward in the future. There is only a small possibility that the ETF will be approved this time around and if that is the case we would see some correction after the verdict.Hope it wont go down like a sliding hill. The idea that this rise is based on a solid foundation is true because of the long, steady rise beforehand.  Bitcoin's price rise right now is not sustainable of course, but it's a long shot from a pump and is genuinely based on enthusiasm for the prospect of the ETF getting approved in my opinion.

But you're right that people are setting their hopes too high.  It's nice to be optimistic about price, but some of the press are quite silent about Bitcoin's recent jump compared to in 2013.  The only thing which could get Bitcoin more exposure is clickbait journalism from people who remember all the hype in 2013.

I would say as well that even a drop of 300$ to the price we have today would not really stop bitcoins upwards trend.
We would still be above christmas level, and that was only 2 and a half months ago.
To me a little correction downwards would be even appreciated.
It's all moving up too fast, the bigger the bubble gets, the louder it implodes.
