Modded P2Pool with some help from paul21.

Its hosted on good hardware with easy scalability.
3% goes to the bank to cover server costs.
I run 2 different nodes that will sync them self. You can run cgminer with both addresses and it will autoswap if something happens.

Host 01 (US) : stratum+tcp://pool01.feathercoin.cc:19327
Host 02 (EU) : stratum+tcp://pool02.feathercoin.cc:19327

Username: YourFCAddress
Password: x

Stats Node 01:  http://pool01.feathercoin.cc:19327
Stats Node 02:  http://pool02.feathercoin.cc:19327

Cgminer line:
Quote
cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool01.feathercoin.cc:19327 -u YourFCaddress -p x -o stratum+tcp://pool02.feathercoin.cc:19327 -u YourFCaddress -p x -s 1 --expiry 1 --queue 0 -I 13

Posted this on the other fc thread..

im on here, but why are none of the pools solving blocks? judging by http://cryptocoinexplorer.com:5750/chain/Feathercoin ,theres a block solved every 30 seconds. however, the other two pools i have access to are still showing 0 blocks, so who the hell is solving these blocks?

Paul21s p2pool is doing 30Mh and do solve a lot of those. There are someone solomining for sure.

Goal is to make sure paul21 p2pool and mine communicate together.

I will release the p2pool code when i am sure it works. I have one thing i want to change if this doesn't work.

I asked for p2pool help without much luck, been experimenting for a few days.

"Stratum from pool 0 requested work restart" - what does it mean? Something not tuned right? I'll note that on Coinotron did not do that very often...
It means that stratum detected a new block on the network, and you were working on the previous block data (which if it let you be, you would end up getting the share rejected), so stratum tells your client to restart work (i.e. get the current block data).

Its good to have some alternatives. Paul21´s  http://fc.dontmine.me/ is based on a other platform.

You can run cgminer with both solutions. if one fails the other takes over. Better than wasting time Smiley

How long does it take for my address to show up below "Payouts if a block were found NOW" at http://pool02.feathercoin.cc:19327/static/ ?

I've been mining for about 20 minutes and submitted 40+ valid shares, but my address is not there yet.

You need a external app, i recommend getting cgminer.

There is also some Windows GUI apps that does most of the work for you also, but i have not been using that for a while myself.

I've been having a rather odd issue with mining feathercoin... I have dual 7950s and they get ~550Khash/sec, however I've noticed that sometimes one gpu will have over 2x the accepted shares compared to the other gpu(same amount of stalls).  Has anyone else noticed this?  I've tried pointing each gpu at different servers and separate wallets, but the same issue persists...  I haven't had this problem with mining litecoin...

Left ScryptMiner running on my mighty office computer, mined 81 shares so far @21.7khash/s. Haven't received any payment up till now. Am I doing something wrong?

Have done some changes now. Hopefully it will work better now. I will give it 6+ hours. If it doesnt work after that, then the code is defunct and i need to shutdown the p2pool.

Lets give it 6 more hours and take it from there.

Yeah I'm a little confused myself, I changed some of my settings, from a thread concurrency of 21792 to 8960 on an AMD 7950 and my hash rate went from 500Khash/s to 150Khash/s... However my Accepted shares went through the roof, in a span of one hour with my dual cards running a grand total of 200Khash/s I've gotten just about 18,000 accepted shares, meanwhile before I would be lucky to get 1000 accepted shares in 6 hours!

 Something is wonky!

Having some problems too, last payment is from 1:24 PM (GMT+1 [or+2, summertime], so 11:24 AM forum time) but the pool site tells me there were many blocks solved afterwards. Edit: Having looked at pool site again, it seems all my shares past 414474 were not counted.
My address is 6gApJAEGEnD83nHp9Sn8p5YPx1xK2iozNY, the graph shows a spike @ 1 PM and nothing before or after, although the miner's running all the time (before and afterwards), except mere seconds when changing intensity. Payments seemed to be OK before.
Edit: Off to LTC until resolved.

Pool will close down within 12 hours, to many bugs with p2pool

Try going over to this pool and see how it works.

Stats page says I'm doing ~530 kh/s (no dead) but no coins are coming. Why?

EDIT: I should read.

EDIT: Just got paid. I'm unsure whether to stay or leave. What say you, @blastbob?

We need a few good miners!  Code has been scoured and double checked!  The pool has no payout errors (thanks ,Paul ,for insight into issues in  mmcFE)

A lot of the p2pools don't work for me at the moment. Does you cgminer work ok with a litecoin pool?

I am trying to point my cpu miner at the feathercoin pool. It seems to be helping find new blocks But I dont know if I am going to create any coins or solve anything.

Maybe I dont know what the hell I am doing at all. Should I just stop and go back to getting slammed in my LTC pool?

If anyone cares to look, here is the address Iam using for the pool. Again, I am only detecting new blocks every 30 seconds or so. No shares
