Just be aware that no to many people has the latest wallet, which is so far 0.9.1
0.9.1 have some major bug fixes.

As I see scanning conns, almost everybody has 0.8.8 version and some other 0.9.0.
You can find the latest version in the OP of this very thread.

Yes. Wallet 0.9.1 is stable and developers have fixed some bugs present in previous versions.

You don't have to do anything. Just preserve your wallet.dat file, delete the older version and run the new one. "Remember to make always a copy of your wallet.dat. It's where all your coins dwell".
