is anybody solo mining. the guide doesn't talk about solo. people have asked but no one comments here or telegram. what goes in the .conf file? I got listen=1
server=1
daemon=1
rpcuser=anyname
rpcpassword=anypassword
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=17711
port=10946

I named this creativecoin.conf is this the right name for it or should it be named something else?
I use ccminer and use this in the bat ccminer_CP -a keccakc -o http://127.0.0.1:10946 -u anyname -p anypassword
I also tried the rpc port for port as in ccminer_CP -a keccakc -o http://127.0.0.1:17711 -u anyname -p anypassword

i've tried with http:// and without http:// after -o
but I get and error in ccminer with the rpcport its says JSON-RPC call failed:method not found, with port(10946) it says HTTP request failed: Recv failure: Connection was rest. any help please.

I dont see any point you want to do solo mining, due to high hashrate in the network already.

I had join the pool with http://sekop.terrano.id/stats and have quite good experience.

well considering I have mined 146 coins on the pools but according to my miner I have found 20 blocks I would like to give solo a try. maybe I just was real lucky or I was able to get blocks because I was on a pool. idk but still, 160 vs 146 coins makes a valid point to solo.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

If we can get to HitBTC would be amazing. I like this exchange very much.

That´s right. HitBTC got a nice Volume and is one of the bigger exchanges.

We like HitBTC. Being listed there would definitely be great news for us. Application form already sent, let's see what they decide Smiley

hitbtc is not that good in fact.
liqui would be much more better.
hitbtc may seem to have more volume then liqui.
but  most of its volume is bitcoincash.
most altcoins in hitbtc are totally ignored almost zero volume.
please try to get into liqui if possible.

why now syn so slow,i open the wallet and syn a day it still not complete!

Hello.

2-You need the last official wallet version 1.2.0.0

https://binaries.creativechain.net/latest/

2-Add nodes if needed. Help/ Debug Windows/console

addnode=151.80.145.34:10946 add
addnode=80.241.212.178:10946 add
addnode=5.189.181.124:10946 add
addnode=217.182.129.22:10946 add

Regards.
Antuam

After updating the wallet to the latest version I tried these a few times. Nothing works. I get Method not found (code -32601). Sync is stuck on 77% for two days already.

FYI to anyone following this thread, the reason you get the Method not found error in Debug console is the syntax is incorrect in those instructions. When in the Debug console you must type it in as:

addnode 151.80.145.34:10946 add

Note the lack of "=".  Also I got mine sync'ed after backing up the wallet file somewhere, deleting the CreativeCoin folder (which was not in AppData\Roaming as in the instructions but was locally stored in the folder I ran the wallet from) then running it again from scratch. The issue I had is the site links to both the new 1.2 version as well as an ancient 0.13 version of the wallet. If you run the old one first you pretty much need to erase all but the wallet file and start from scratch.

PS: Thanks to Ridjal Diallo on Telegram for helping me figure this out!

much of the activity is on cryptopia, the other exchanges like coinexchange and novaexchage are yet realize volumes in this coin, if we get liqui and hitbtc, the  volume will go up.

Yea, we definitely need a better exchange. . .  Shocked

$310 volume even on TOPIA is far from great, although I know it's because people are not willing to sell at the current prices.

I honestly think that our focus should be getting this coin on BITTREX. This and the release of the platform will be the only thing that could revive this coin.

I would also like to add: there is currently no advertising campaign whatsoever. The earlier the better. . . even without the platform

Right a advertising campaign is needed very fast. This would be very good for CREA.

i think bittrex is on of the best but its listing style now days has greatly changed, it require a legal status from the coin that is requesting to be listed, that means the dev must employ lawyers to do the job.

Lawyers to do the job?   Huh

If that's the case with BITTREX now. . . then most coins would be delisted.

The Creativechain platform incorporates the wallet compatible and synchronized with the Qt wallet.

This project is so undervalued, it´s like a drama. I cant believe this whole situation. There is so much creativity and new stuff in this coin.
