Well of course if your arguments does not make any sense it''s better to talk with walls.
YOU have NO ARGUMENTS. You are just saying "Dash this, Dash that". This is not an argument backed up by anything.

Bitcoin is not anonymous, transparent, everyone can analyze blockchain and track the transactions.
It is pseudo-anonymous, which is currently more than enough. Your blockchain analysis is useless if I don't tell you what address is mine.

Bitcoin confirmation time is too long.
No. It is a consensus rule agreed by the network.

Bitcoin fees is growing.
That's how the system is supposed to be working. Free market economics. Roll Eyes

Bitcoin is not user friendly.
It is far more user friendly than any other altcoin.

Dash solved all this problems
We know that Dash creates user friendly evolution app in 2017 while we don't know when Segwit will be implemented, Bitcoin keeps promising.
Okay, let me call it:
DASH is a SHITCOIN.

You say just Bitcoin Bitcoin Bitcoin too Smiley
Let's admit that Dash is doing while Bitcoin is promising, i personally don't know when Bitcoin will solve all these problems and segwit with lightning network will be implemented, i split 50% of my Bitcoin to Dash because i don't want o pay more fees. With what Dash is offering right now, i just don't know what will become top 1 Dash or Bitcoin, bitcoin needs to start solving issues faster.

My thoughts:
1) Why the self-moderated thread?
2) This sounds like pure propaganda from a DASH pumper.
3) DASH is a premined shitcoin. I know, as I was there, mining it while it was called Darkcoin (DRK).

That said, let's evaluate:
Quote
Instant transactions
Unsafe.

Quote
Private sending (mixing coins in the wallet)
Anonymity provided by Dash is negligible in comparison to Monero.

Quote
And we have couple Bitcoin core developers who running from Bitcoin Core to Dash.
Complete lie.

Well i don't know, but to me Dash sounds promising.
Why instant transactions unsafe?

You seem new into this. You should always consider that everything has tradeoffs.

Now, you think instant transactions come without a price?

Bitcoin is slower, and more expensive, because it's more robust. You think Dash developers are smarter than the Core developers which consists of cryptography legends? Get real.

You can't have instant transactions that are as safe as the transactions happening in the bitcoin network (backed by the biggest amount of hashing power on earth). This is a simple matter of PHYSICS.

We will have instant, cheap transactions and rationally safe enough with LN, but stop dreaming about what is physically impossible.

If such a coin existed, everyone would move there and we all would be rich overnight.

That's why everyone runs to Dash

You say just Bitcoin Bitcoin Bitcoin too Smiley
Bullshit. I've swiftly laid out strong points that you can not refute. 1) Confirmation times are a consensus rule and low confirmation times at these block sizes would lead to high orphan rates. 2) Fees are dictates by a free market based on supply/demand. The fees on DASH will not grow until there are actually people using it. Hint: There are almost no Dash users.

Let's admit that Dash is doing while Bitcoin is promising
Name me 1 DASH development that is equal to or superior to one such as secp256k1. Oh right, you can't.

I'm still not convince to use Dash since that coin are already old but the movement still not the same as bitcoin how bitcoin are growing..
Check the progress of bitcoin do you think those company will close and transfer into dash..
Well for me better to go in litecoin dogecoin or other altcoin in top rankings than in dash.. before i have dash when i was collecting it but i dont used it because site or services that i can used. its useless there is no company are accepting it.

Wrong again! The developers are in no way obligated to develop for you. The developers of Bitcoin work on it for various reasons. If you want a specific change X, go learn how to code and create said change. It's simple as that.

Nope. I'm fine with current confirmation times and the fees could be better, but I don't mind them either.

I want just Segwit and lightning network to be implemented and while Bitcoin developers promising other players solving issues.
It's one thing to develop something and it's a completely another thing to deploy (in the case of a soft fork). The fact that other can fork easily just shows their lack of decentralization and minuscule network infrastructure.

Bitcoin is for users!
Not Developers.
Okay. Going by that logic: Let users develop the features that they want themselves. Let's see how that goes. Roll Eyes

Segwit has been implemented since Bitcoin Core 0.13.1. Segwit is not activated, and that's a major difference. You can use/test it on the testnet if you prefer.

Yeah Dash is the new flower of the month and people start to watch it.
It's just a pump, nothing more to it.

The only right answer to this question is: I do not know and neither does anybody else. A true cryptocurrency is meant to be immutable, i.e. hard to change. If it were trivial to change Bitcoin, then it wouldn't be nearly as secure nor as valuable. Only time will tell whether Segwit or some other throughput improvement will be adopted. Be patient and enjoy the development both on-chain and off-chain. Bitcoin Core 0.14.0 will probably be released next week.

Great news, but will Core 0.14.0 will solve any problems?
The real problem is that what you consider problems are in fact not problems. Let's recap:
1) Confirmation times. 1 block per 10 minutes on average is a consensus rule. Reducing said time would require a hard fork, which would be extremely hard to do. Additionally, it has trade-offs as lower times can end up being more dangerous (higher orphan rates) and make the DOS validation attack vector worse.
2) Rising fees. Bitcoin Core development can't do anything about this. The fees are rising because the block space demand is greatly outweighing the demand. In order for this to improve, more throughput (transactions per second) are required. This can't happen without a soft fork, hard fork or a second layer solution.

Any other problems? Keep in mind that merchants do not need to, and often don't, wait for confirmations.

But if merchants don't wait for confirmations then they are vulnerable to double spend.

But if merchants don't wait for confirmations then they are vulnerable to double spend.
This is where economics and incentives come into play. You need to use your brain. Let's evaluate some cases:
1) Trivial amount in any grocery shop: You won't double spend as they have you on camera. You will go into prison if you do.
2) Any amount for a digitally revocable good: For example, double spending vs. Steam would be absurdly stupid as Steam would just deactivate your whole account.
3) Tangible goods from online shops which have your ID on your account: Same as point 1.
4) Non-trivial amount: wait for confirmations depending on how much you're willing to risk.

Bitcoin rebranded to Dash, dash is new Bitcoin Grin
Dash is a rebrand from Darkcoin, i.e. DRK which was instamined in the first 3 days. One of the reasons why they rebranded it.

Well that's the reason i am thinking about to split 50% to Dash 50% to Bitcoin. No one knows if sewgit will be implemented, then i don't know if Bitcoin will be top 1 all the time.
Dash have done everything that they promised and even going to lounch evolution app at 2017.

I am not any jehovah witness of Bitcoin or Dash.
I just want to put my money to the team who knows what consumers want, dash evolution app will be something that consumers want, something like paypal on blockchain and user friendly for moms, grandpas, non technical people...
Less fees
Instant transactions
Private sending

Dash is not Darkcoin anymore they are working more, you can say that all the legends, talents work on Bitcoin core, but:

https://tse3.mm.bing.net/th?id=OIP.RFtne9xm72YfQFTv3FHIAQEsC7&pid=15.1

Also from where Bitcoin gets funds?
Bitcoin foundation? It's not enough for developers.
From Dash 10% goes to developers, marketing... 45% to masternodes 45% to miners.

Dash right know is more organized, if Bitcoin would be then i would not split bitcoins to dash
