in Windows10 - wallet falls when I try to encrypt the wallet (((
Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Hello, sorry to keep you waiting IOT platform will be ready in approx 3 weeks, there is a lot of testing to do, since we use GET and MQTT protocol to send data
we have a scalable solution with multiple servers running on mongodb.

when testing phase is done we will publish a link, and NETKO coin holders, will have some free testing period /access to try it.
We are trying our best..
thanks for supporting us

something wrong with the math about the circulating coins, why there are only 3 millions coins after pow end, if the block numbers is 12960 and each day there are 40k coins mined? what is the block time here, but even if the block time is 1 block per day still 12960 x 259 is more than 3 million, lol something wrong

Hi not shure what you are talking about.

Current supply: 3,313,646 NETKO

Proof of work stage: 12960 blocks x  259 NETKO blockreward = 3,356,640 NETKO

Block at time of writing : 12794

Block time is 10min, but because of the heavy spikes in hashrate and difficulty on some occasions chain got stuck for an hour or more.

So please redo your math as everything is fine.

Cheers.

so 144 block a day per 259 is like 37k a day, yes it make sense now, less than 100 days of mining lead to current 3.3 millions of coin, i think i was confusing because the block time was unknown

e: tried with gcc 4.8.4 and 4.9.4

Did you manage to solve this? I have no problems on 16.04 or 14.04

1. git clone https://github.com/netkotech/netko.git
2. cd netko
3. qmake
4. make

Finally, got it working with Ubuntu 16.04, not sure why It wasn't working with 14.04.

DEV, have you got an example of proper config, for staking?

Hello,

Quick noob question;

I'm currently trying mine this coin on Supernova pool and I'm kinda confused. Block reward is something 250 NETKO.

Do I get paid only for the blocks I have found? or besides blocks, do I also get paid for shares?

Seriously, why bother? The PoW phase will be over by tomorrow and it will be a couple of days before the few coins you get on suprnova mature so you can withdraw them.

Better just buy some

Hello,

Quick noob question;

Nooo, help us bust this damn 2 hour block first Cheesy   hahaha    THEN just buy some while you can as yes, there's like 50 blocks till end of PoW Smiley

~Got this girl in my bed, a roof over my head, i mint a couple coins a week, and thats how i make bread~
~On the 12th day of Hatzvah, OGminer said to me: "compute root of the merkle hash tree!"~

I have clean installation, I'm trying to compile with these steps:
https://github.com/netkotech/netko/blob/master/doc/readme-qt.rst

Can you help me, sort out this thing?
cheers

e: tried with gcc 4.8.4 and 4.9.4

Did you manage to solve this? I have no problems on 16.04 or 14.04

1. git clone https://github.com/netkotech/netko.git
2. cd netko
3. qmake
4. make

Finally, got it working with Ubuntu 16.04, not sure why It wasn't working with 14.04.

DEV, have you got an example of proper config, for staking?
I am having the same problem and cant manage to make it work.
I am quite lost

I have made it like this.
Install fresh copy of ubuntu16.04,
then get dependencies: sudo apt-get install qt5-default qt5-qmake qtbase5-dev-tools qttools5-dev-tools build-essential libboost-dev libboost-system-dev libboost-filesystem-dev libboost-program-options-dev libboost-thread-dev libssl-dev libdb++-dev libminiupnpc-dev

and then this: 1. git clone https://github.com/netkotech/netko.git
2. cd netko
3. qmake
4. make

This worked for me for first try, hope it help.
