im sure that everyone would have thought of this at least once at some time or the other,
what is the meaning of our existence?
are we created by the gods of various religions or by some unnamed god on some random whim?
could we be living inside another world(the matrix basically)?
are we to live everyday to ultimately die?

The truth is that there is no good answer because, well, we really don't have one. No one knows the ''meaning'' of life. No one knows if we were created with a purpose or if there is something else after dying. Religions like to claim there is but they are all stupid beliefs. It doesn't mean something like a god doesn't exist. As I said, the reality is that we don't know. I personally think that IF there is a meaning/purpose, it would be something that we can't even begin to imagine right now or maybe not even understand because of our limited brain capacity. Think of it like a dog, you can definitely teach a dog a lot of tricks but you will never be able to teach a dog to play chess, he will simply not understand it, ever. The same thing could be happening to us right now so it's better not to think about it because it's usually a waste of time and one thing is certain, we all have limited time. |
