You have a good question that is so difficult to answer. Life as we know it is so hard to understand. Why are we here, in this deep space. Why are we alone. Why aren't any beings in the moon or any planet in our solar system? Could we have just evolved from bacteria? or from the Monkeys? Not even Charles had the answer. The only thing I could figure our is the way we lived. Why was the moon so situated in the sky to give us light during the night? Why is it that there are plants to give us food? Why we have the sun to let it grow and light us? Why is it that the world was situated not too close or too bar from the sun? There are so many questions that we cannot answer yet giving us clues that we have a CREATOR. Though he was nowhere to be found yet it is certain that he was just watching us from a distance.

There is none. "Meaning" or "purpose" implies outside influence or creation. There is no great plan.
Which is not a necessarily a bad thing. It means, you are free to make up your own meanig and make your own goals if you want to. If not, just going with the flow is ok as well.
