My thoughts is in line with what you have said, assets should be bought when there are low in price and sold when there are high in price. The Best time to buy altcoins especially those that are low in price is now because with little Satoshi you can get them in quantity and coverts it again when there appreciate.

I see no problem buying or selling anytime, as long as you buy low and sell high and of course you should look at the price on Satoshi and not USD otherwise you will find yourself confused and probably losing instead of making any profit, this is also valid as long as you are planning to hold bitcoins for the long term.
If you are spending your coins however (buying stuff), you should do it while the price is high and when It's low because you will be spending more In that case.

Let's keep an optimistic approach and hope for the best. Any decision in favour or against will be a chance to enter in the bitcoin while considering the long term. Even if the decision goes against it then the price will drop below $1,000 and there are lot of traders who are willing to buy bitcoin at that price so even if it crashes, it will be an opportunity.

most of the altcoins you see out there are going down, and it has nothing to do with bitcoin price, that is their nature to get dumped because they were pump and dump coins.

but about some coins what you said is true, some of them have some good potential to rise and the dips these days can be a good chance to pick some cheap coins up before they bounce back up.

but the important question is about which coins are good to buy now and which ones aren't.

I think currently Bitcoin break out in the price that reaching all time high due to Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) news effect. Usually, When bitcoin begin to pump high, most of altcoin getting freezed or even the their price going down. So I have two cases for trading the meantime :
- If ETF is denied I would sell all BTC to fiat or buying ZEC ( this crypto tend to rise up for long-term )
- If ETF is accepted I would hold my BTC because I think it it can pump higher $1500

Usually that is the case but it depends on what altcoin will be on hand as some of the alts remains what they are even there is an ongoing price increase or decrease in bitcoin.

If a person really doesn't sure but wants to test it out then have some spare funds on risk and start buying those alts that they think will become active in pumping scene once this bitcoin tremendous increase will slow down. See the output by themselves if that is the best thing to do.

Not for this time but just wait for it until near of the 11 march. So you will see more the cheap price of the coin. More pump will come just to be a patience person.

I just think that long term bitcoin is the ultimate buy, yes i have been lucky when buying some alts and have been able to make a few bitcoin doing so, but it is not a cert.  i would put all my money into bitcoin these days small bits at a time.

It could be a good time to start trading another coin like Etherium. But there may also be an opportunity to buy more Bitcoin if the price drops again. If the ETF isn't approved, the price will surely drop some.

As you say it is not right time to trade now because of pumping of the price of bitcoin. So my suggestion is save bitcoin for know just hold it until the price meets it's top and dump When that is happen sell your bitcoin and make the decision for yourself. And if you want to go to trading it's better to wait for the right moment when the bitcoin price became stable means the pumping and dumping is not that high you can trade if that is happening because it is the right time to have some profit in trading.

Yes, as we can see as of now bitcoin price is continue increasing. There are many altcoins are affected of its hiking and it will make low altcoins down more. So for now, I think if you are great trader you will stop trading because you know that you didn't earn in this time so better paused what you had already done in trading and continue if the price of btc will paused but I think it will consumed much time.

less famous altcoins go down because they are getting dumped all the time, and it doesn't really matter what bitcoin price is and if it goes up or down.
and for these altcoins never is a good time to pick them up unless you are planning on losing some money or you know it is going to get pumped soon.

other altcoins, yes it is good to buy some if there was a dip and you know the altcoin is good enough to go up in price. but you have to be more specific about your altcoins you want to invest in if you want more specific help.
