Agreed, I helped my uncle set up a massive SP array this past year.

Even in the desert Arab Emirates to provide oil rigs with electricity used by wind generators. Perhaps this is a response to the fact that solar panels cannot produce enough energy to provide production capacity. Production by solar panels is fake.

Yes, I have thought about this because this question has been around for several weeks now. The solar panel question like this just to ask question for me is a trash. Please you can post something about solar panel but please be informative.

If you see in some country that they are using solar panel for their company that is why i think that using solar panel to mine is very profitable even we all know that mining bitcoin for now is very hard but this method is you do not mind the monthly electricity rate all bitcoin you mine is pure income.

The use of solar panels is the best viable alternative source of electrical energy for mining, it can also increase the productivity of generating more bitcoin than regular electricity.

I use solar to mine a bit. And then use the heat from the miners to heat the home a bit .. It is cold here. .  I dont make much mining but it does keep the place warm and give me a hobby to do. Cheesy Sometimes an alt coin will be a win tho. Something I maybe mine that I would not waste my money buying.

I don't know when will you reach the break-even when you start mining bitcoin using solar panels as renewable source of energy. Photo voltaic cells are expensive plus the hardware used in mining bitcoin. Yes it can earn you bitcoin but when will the profit reach your expenses in this set-up? It is a good way to lessen the electricity cost but think about when you will exceed the break-even point.

If you write this means that it is very far from mining. You don't understand what you're talking about! Even the roof of your house is unable to accommodate the required number of solar panels for mining. What to do at night? How many batteries? It is a fake.

solar energy for mining will be a minimal cost offset at best; solar panels are incredibly expensive, and unless you have a field full of them, youre not going to be generating enough energy to actually power the miner full time, even with batteries storing excess energy throughout the day. if solar energy was actually a viable solution to reduce mining costs someone on this forum would've worked out the numbers and set something up already.

No it would not because you would need an army of them to run Bitcoin mining rigs.

Solar panels are best used to charge batteries during the day which are then used to run small-medium sized appliances and also store the energy overnight for the next day.

Hmm one thing you could do is sell the electricity from the solar farm when demand is high, and when electricity prices suck, use the solar power to mine crypto.

The only problem is that your crypto hardware would depreciate even when they are not being used.

I suspect in the future solar farms will be the cheapest way to generate electricity.

I wonder if this would be a great equalizer for countries near the equator.

Solar panels is not cheap device.
Not only can place on Equator or United Arab Emirates...
panels need connect to Pb acid batteris and create UPS, in the night power suply will be use batteries only.

It depends on the place you are.
If you live in a oil favoring country, you'll need to pay heavy tax on panels and batteries that your investment seems worthless.
If you live in renewable favoring country where the panel and batteries are dirt cheap, you can have a stable flow of free electricity.

That would be useless if your miners will require more power ratings, please make sure you do have an enough power banks for that and can accommodate the requirements needed in order to power up your miners. For me it's a profitable idea if solar power generation was already established and I am sure that you will generate higher profit for that.

This is true you can choose weather you will build gridtie or off gridtie  if you will build a gridtie panel use monocrystalline solar panel which the maximum wattage is 265 watts per panel and it depends how many wattage will you use for your miner. if your Miner consume 1200watts you would put 5 panels of 265watts plus 1 or 2 to produce the enough wattage because it's not 100% harvesting per solar panel so you wouldn't maximize the 265wats per panel.

Unless you already have solar panels you have to spend a lot of money on them.

In most countries it'll be a better investment to buy more mining equipment than to buy solar panels, unless if you can use the energy completely without mining and if your country would offer interesting tax returns.

That is already given that you need to have lots of money if you want to build mining site using solar energy to run your site. But this could give you pure profit in the future after you ROI, unlike of using electricity you always need a budget monthly for paying your electricity bill which deducted in your profit.

Solar energy is very expensive. If you wealthy person and you have no other problems in addition to fight for the environment then you can buy solar panels even knowing that they never will pay for. If mining is your business then you should proceed from the fact that the money you have to invest in the business and not the environment.
