Here in my country there are more company using solar energy to sustain the power needs of their building and i think if someone using solar panel to collect energy for their mining i think i would be more profitable but i think also that building a solar panel is too expensive that is why i think if only individual doing it he need to invest huge amount of capital on that.

Surely it will increase the cost by a huge margin but will also makes your miner efficient and more profitable in the long run. I must commend you for making renewable energy as your option!  Wink If you have the resources, I suggest you go for it!

This is a good idea in general.  Solar panel technology is increasingly advancing as well.  Others have suggested some of the other green technologies for power to do mining.

See my thread little known altcoins with potential:

There have been a bunch of miners over the years who have harnessed energy from the sun to fuel their mining operations. Solar energy is a technique that uses radiant light to create electrical power, and has been used by us in the past. Many people have mined bitcoin using the sun’s energy, as discussions of miners using solar power to mine can be found online dating back to 2012, and every year after.

Of course many have thought about that but i think that wouldn't be economical. If youre going to compute the total cost of solar panels and installation, and compare it to how much time it take to earn returns, it would take a lot of time and there are lots that needs funding other than power.

Yes! go green! Not only will make your miner efficiently profitable for years to come plus to choose renewable energy should be a must for every country. Its service is almost uninterrupted given a proper maintenance, meaning less worries for your miner.

Rig costs combined with solar panel cost would make an awfully long ROI!

It's currently being done on several projects in the works much better than regular electricity of course. A little bit of looking around the many  would show you this information. There's at least 4 people doing it that I know of, I need you every one of them is actually successful at it. The cost electricity is eliminated making mining a very profitable process.

Hi, In the regulation of bitcoin mining of this decentralized currency  charges the most of electricity.
To find a alternative some bitcoin enthusiasts are trying to find ways to rise renewable energy which can replace electricity.
Solar energy is already in use to soothe the electrical costs of mining.

Using solar energy as the source of power for bitcoin mining operation is a good way to save power and electric expenses. I have thought about it before when I was mining bitcoins last year using antminer s5. But even though I will install solar panels I will still need to replace my hardware due the difficulty of mining blocks. Mining with S5 nowadays is no longer that profitable from what I hear. If I had only enough funds I will purchase new hardware and install a solar panel on the roof of our house.

S5 is the profitable mining upto my knowledge so.You may continue that.Solar panels is the best one for getting electricity for mining so.In solar panel, only once you will inverse for the implementation .Later it fulfil the amount you spend for Solar panel. All the electricity from that panel is free of cost for your mining. You no need to pay for the Electricity.

If it were cheap enough to set up and maintain I would do it, but as of now the ROI is way way too long to even think about going solar.. and besides..I dont live on the sunniest side of the planet so I´ll skip it.

you can acquire solar panels on the west coast near socal very cheaply. you have to go through alot of weirdos and preppers but i have gotten a few really cheap because the glass was broken. a little rosin and a little pressure and you can fix the glass. 300w panel for $80 usd with a small crack. happy hunting!

I have thought of exploiting bitcoins with ant6 sinker. Even when I would install the solar panels I would still need to replace my hardware due to difficulty
The efficiency of solar panels varies between countries. The government subsidizes them to make renewable energy more financially feasible, especially in countries with more sunlight.
You can buy electricity regularly at $ 0.16 / kWh. Solar panels can be a great addon for your mine.
