i simply dont know what to download and where to download iv downloaded nuatalous but not exactly sure what else to download. i would like to solo mine so does that mean i need to download sometimg for the node? cant find any information on a google search.

Basically you need to point your miner towards your local wallet IP and rpc port. Since PIRL is an Ethash coin, it's similar to the solo mining Expanse as shown in the video.
