Not possible to cancel, you either wait for it to go through, wait for it to be dropped from mempools or do an RBF transaction on top of it.

Time depends largely on fees and transaction size.

Hopefully until now your transaction should be confirmed. For next time check carefully this website https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ for the recommended fee. If you use dynamic fees and put the slider to the far right you are good to go and transactions will confirm faster.

If you want to use the specific fee of bitcoinfees21 then uncheck dynamic fees and enter manually the recommended fee you see in the website.

Personally I suggest to use dynamic fees with the slider moved to the far right, no problems and it is easy for newbies.
