Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

The problems is that you only added a very low fee - 70.272 sat/B, you should probably added a fee of around 160-180 sat/B for this transaction to clear within the next few blocks.

Because you said you are using Electrum (if it's the new version) then just use RBF (replace by fee) and add a higher fee to the transaction to help it get confirmed quicker.

In future check what the optimal fee is by looking at a site like this one: https://bitcoinfees.21.co/

Edit: It looks like you have an unconfirmed transactions in the same address from yesterday before you sent this transaction you are enquiring about now. The tx you have mentioned may have an unconfirmed output in it so that will have to confirm before the transaction you sent today will confirm.

Yeah, unfortunately, it seems that you have several unconfirmed transactions with low fees.

You may want to try running those transactions through https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ which may help speed them up.

In the future be sure to use larger fees for a quick confirm. I recommend the Dynamic Fees feature and slide the slider to the right for quick confirms.

Transaction accelerators like viabtc wont often have any effect on speeding up transactions that have been sent with such low fees

Actually the tool will help. Via is a mining pool and they will include transactions that are accelerator through the tool when they mine their next block. They require a minimum fee but it definitely helps speed up confirmations.
