I think we should not take the list seriously. Because the formula they used has nothing to do on how a country become lucky.

It was kind of funny reading this from a poker site regarding the worlds luckiest countries.
They have this kind of methology on how did they arrived on the conclusion.
If you will notice, Top 5 are the those 1st world country and the rest specially
the bottom 5 3rd world.

it is not merely a high degree of good fortune, but also because of the number of online gamblers in these countries is the highest in the world, so there winning rate higher than other countries. However, it is sensible to five of these countries are at the top in the data, because these countries were superior in terms of any of the other countries.

It is because in this countries, most of the people here are always gambling, either online or not, so, they are used to it, that is why the winning rate on those countries are higher than the other countries, and because they are always gambling, their skills are getting better and better everyday because of their experience.

And since we are talking about poker here, which is a game that requires skills than luck, that is why, gamblers who are active on the gambling world will be really excel on this one compare to those gamblers who are just doing gambling if they want, or if they are just having a pastime.

maybe the luckiest countries means is the person on that country is very often win gambling and win the lottery so that's why this site called just like that however i could not reach the site and it seems my internet provider has blocked it

Good to know, these countries are top 5, but you know the reason is that in these countries, they play gambling in a professional level, Because in my country, first of all, gambling is illegal and i also know many countries are not allow to play gambling, but in these countries online gambling promote and if they are in the top than because they do hard work to succeed in this level.

So if we take option that in some countries gambling is illegal, luck of winner which still is not in jail should be counted double or triple. I'm sure that someone who make this list did not consider such a determinant  

Is this list is real or fake, Because China is missing in this list, That country also the luckiest country in the gambling world? And I agree that USA and UK are good places to gamble and we can see a lot of casinos in this place. And some islands means Singapore, Sri Lanka and other small countries also have a lot of casinos. I have one question how to find the top 5 luckiest countries in the world.

I will say their ranking is just based on the total number of participants they believe are coming from those countries they listed. It will not surprise me to believe that majority of their players might even be from the least lucky states but are using proxy to access their sites and the likes. And it could also could be that its where the popularity of the sites survey are based among other factors...

My country is not included on the top 5 list. But I can see it included for the whole top 22. It's interesting and truly funny with this type of list.

It made me laugh when seeing those reality TV show included with the methodology the site used. I'm not against with this type of list.

I want to see more like this one. 

Yeah. the methodology on determining the lucky country is very insane and i think it is out of context. I bet that the one who do this survey is from European country. And judging the lucky of a country by such criteria is totally nonsense because luck is unpredictable and it can never determined, But if the survey main objective is luck of having such important things, then i will agree on the list above because that country is so much blessed and have a rich resources

I like this type of surveys and list knowing the methodology they did on getting those criteria for including a country to the list is really crazy.

I hope the site will keep on making on what they had started to do. But I don't consider those countries to be blessed.

Their title is what define them, they are just lucky.

Yes the measures they have used to make this list doesn't seem good. How average rainfall can effect on people's luck  

There are lots of daily/weekly jackpot running in those 1st world countries as well as they are the one who host several reality TV shows each year, so it is not surprising that they are listed in top 5 luckiest country. However we should atleast appreciate their effort to make this list.

I don't understand the methodology. Why would they include reality tv show winners, and summer Olympic games medals.
I don't even understand why they include sports in the equation, but since they did it, only only summer Olympic games.
And rainfall? It's still funny to see the things people in those countries won though.

Precisely, it's just baseless and useless to have come up with this list. How can you determine the luck of people in a particular country? There are lots of successful gamblers who have relocated to some if these countries and so it just doesn't make those countries lucky at gambling but maybe lucky at having riches and technology.

My country is at the bottom 5. I wonder why does some criteria are included in determining the countries luck. If you ask me, if a country have lots of natural resources, gold, silver and copper it is a lucky country.

it is strange, i can not open the site now and i don't know why. but in that list, i see that the all country is allow gambling to played by the people so i see the poker games can be played in that country. but i am curious why china is in number 17 from the list because as far as i know, they playing card games too although the names is not poker but i think its the same as poker games. and now since the site that maybe gets error and can not be visited, i think its not the good info.

Last night I played tournament, for the first time, team play tournament. I never saw that before, entry was 50 cents and by the countries most people was from UK, then US.. But last night on tournament where I registered, there wasn`t my country so I played under Australia, just cause their team had just 30 players, in other more then 50. So i don`t know how much this list is accurate, cause many people choose other country, not the one they live in like I did last night.

Don't take this list seriosly. In my opinion, someone randomly selected countries and stacked them in this order as he wants. Of course, we can't prove that this is untrue.
It is just impossible to comparable countries such as UK or USA with African countries. Just consider access to the Internet and how big is the gap between these two "worlds". The calculation of luck is simply irrational.

Well there are explanations about these and one of them is what you have said. They are those which are the 1st world country, that's why. Many gamblers in the 1st world country are very rich and betting a lot. They're huge loss are just a simple and nothing loss for them. They bet big, they win big, that is how it is. So the reason they are called lucky, even though they are actually not lucky, is because they are rich which is becoming more rich.

oh damn, the uk is the luckiest country out of all of them?? Why uk is number one instead of usa? i think more people are in usa than in uk..
Also i think i notice when i was using some website and some vcc from uk much more free hosting and domain you can get than usa ip so maybe uk is the luckiest this is just my own experience.. but if we are talking about in gambling maybe because of the number of gamblers are more in uk that is why more people are winning on uk in gambling casino than usa.. my country is the worst rank in the list..
