People are already informed about cryptocurrencies, yes ETH is another cryptocurrency even if it's a platform to launch applications and smart contracts. in case of bitcoin people still have a long way to figure out how useful and literally decentralized it is but still they have some ideas and are looking in right places to find the benefits while ETH is younger than than bitcoin unfortunately the somewhat recent frequent forks for it done by developer team just shows that there is no such a thing as consensus in it's network and if there is then they really suck.
Take a look at bitcoin the past 2 months is a war and a bloody battle between different parties trying to decide for a hardfork even though the debate is more than years old.
If ETH leaps that high then I can for sure buy a penthouse

no not at all, because first ethereum marketcap, which is total supply is too high, if ethereum was worth 1000 it would be 4x marketcap compared to bitcoin, which isn't possible, another reason is that ethereum is only a pump and dump right now, and bitoin is accepted by many merchants which use it as a real currency

It could. But it probably wont. It would have higher marketcap than BTC with almost no use. Bitcoin has a lot of merchants behind it and has been in a public eye for a long time. Any other coin will struggle to gather any kind of popularity for the forseeable future.

Some day is no specific day whatsoever which could either be tomorrow or even the next ten years but the issue is every alt created wanted to pass that mark in the envy of bitcoin but bitcoin itself didnt get there in one day and as history would have it, bitcoin was as low as few dollars before becoming what it is today in which ETH didnt even go that low. Whether ETH will get there or not, is for the future to decide and large still falls on the developers whether they wanted it or not...

The price of Ethereum is already over $25. I think it will rise again in the future.

Well, though this is a very optimistic price, for ETH to reach a $1000 reality, the market cap needs to be at least somewhere around 18-20 billion dollars. If that is the case, Bitcoin market cap needs to be around 150- 200 billion dollars. With such a market cap we can expect BTC to be anywhere above 10K-15K USD. It will be an interesting year for Ethereum considering the transition to PoS sometime later this year.

It's a ridiculous statement. I will not expect a lot about the future of there but it looks like they will always increase soon. I think $100 is the irrational decimal for us. $1000 is very optimism speculation.

Good luck buying a penthouse .You really cannot compare the two and so in order for the Ethereum to reach $1000 it will take a huge number of years as there are nothing special about that coin apart from being used as a contract and if at all the other coins that pushes the value further might pose a challenge to bitcoin might not happen unless something terrible happens for bitcoin and if so every alt coin will be hurt in the long term.

Even bitcoin trade at $20000 I don't think ETH will $1000 because its another pump and dump altcoin developed with purpose of cryptotrading nothing else.As price of bitcoin increase most altcoins will die or dumped hard including ETH.

we are all hoping that simply because we want to dump it fast and at higher prices to get our money out before it is too late. but because of this and also because of the fact that whales want to take their money out, we will never see big prices. not even higher than $50! the whales are already cashing out and even if there is another wave of pumps it will go up to 0.03 which is only high price ($37) because bitcoin is worth a lot more.

I agree with you sir, 0.05 btc per eth is too expensive, impossible to be that, to be honest, 0.037 btc ATH is tough for ETH again, hard fork toys is not immutable.
