I hope in 2018 all of the ethereum update such as casper pos, metropolis, plasma, raiden wil be done. And then it will bring a huge profit for everyone in the future. it not caused by ethereum is a powerful coin but the developers is a key for that.

That's right the team behind eth is very creative and innovative and they will keep on improving the features of the coin so I have a great hope from eth in future and if everything goes smooth then it can make me rich someday.

I believe this coin will be trading at $1000 and more over the next couple of years.

It is hard to predict when Etherium will break $1000 in its price. There is up and down movements as of now. But yours is a possible prediction. In a couple of years of more, I am sure $1000 is already reached by ETH. That is already more than 24 months. That's pretty long already for ETH to do the run.

It is really not an easy task for eth to reach this value. It has to struggle damn hard in order to cross the figure of thousand. It is going through frequent pumps and dumps and even at present is dumping badly. Many people are doing panic selling with eth. I fear even its existence in the coming years.

i guess so since eth have been doing good for the past months and its projects are quite successful. so long as they continue to improve their system and a lot of investors come in, there is a hug chance it will surpass 1000. however, it may take a while for eth to surpass the said amount.

I think the market will react positively when some of the FUD news subsided. ETH is a nice coin, we can see some projects using their platform. I am not so sure if the ETH will reach ATH $1000 on next year, but it looks like $800 has been very good when achieved.

Four figure digits are not created for eth; it is only the potential of bitcoins that it easily touches such numbers. I am not in favor of expecting this much from eth.

There are some predictions that say that the market cap of all the cryptos is going to grow to 2 trillion dollars in the next 10 or 15 years if that is true that is more than 10 times the current market cap for all cryptos so if that prediction is correct then there is a chance ETH is able to touch that price in the future but since ETH is going to change from PoW to PoS then we do not know what it may happen in the future of ETH.

For me, there's a possibility that Ethereum reach $1000 because its price is varying, means it is increasing and sometimes it is decreasing. If the Ethereum becomes the most demand coin it has the chance of reaching $1000 someday.

I have no such high expectations from ethereum. Honestly, only bitcoin can make superfast progress. Ethereum has a very large supply. I think, it is somewhere around 95 million dollars and it does not have a good community also. It would take it years to touch 1k dollars because the demand needs to get increased but even after that, it will be fulfilled with ease.

Anything do really have the possibilities but thinking off that ETH has a different platform which i cant really see that there would be any competition but well people would really tried to compete based on overall ranking but same as you said it would really takes time for ETH to reach up 1000 price.Its really possible but there would really be still lots of things to be considered first.

The thing people like about ETH is that it does have intrinsic value and platform for tokens. Ethereum also has the ledger capabilities that Bitcoin has, so it could break $1000.

Once in a distant future there is probably a chance for this, but today and this year I do not wish him to cross such a barrier.
