I agree that now comic films are more popular than books. Although modern publishers give very high-quality and interesting comic books that you really want to have at home

I do read comics, but mostly japanese comics which is called manga. The only american comics that I like is Archie and I haven't read one in ages. I have a friend who loves dc and marvels and he keeps asking me to read spider man. I would probably indulge him soon. Who knows it might be fun.  Wink

Haven't read any comic books lately, would typically read the ones in the newspaper if I came across them. I wouldn't mind reading some Calvin and Hobbes, that was always a funny comic.

I'm going to guess that due to the nature of this forum, there will be a lot of comic book fans.

What I don't get is how they've managed to absolutely dominate Hollywood when I genuinely have never met a single human being who reads them.

Everyone knows Superman. I doubt 99.85% of my fatherland's population would've had the slightest clue who Doctor Strange was before he was shoved down their throats.

I've attempted a few but it's never going to be a medium that'll ever work for me. And when I look things up on Wikipedia I start getting a headache trying to wrap my head around Logan being in Hell after having died 762 times before he was born, but that's before he splits off and becomes 17 different bus conductors who all turn on him or something.

Are you voracious consumers of them? If you do, do you have the slightest clue what's going on in them most of the time?

I prefer reading manga than traditional western comics, I find it dull and boring unlike japanese and korean manga they really know how to make good panels and exciting stories.

I used to love comics when I was a kid, but then the stress of life made it impossible for me to get lost in one.
Honestly, I'm not into Comic books. For me, every comic books are boring and not fun to read. I prefer reading evangelism bible because it will benefit my life and it thought me very important lessons that Comic books never thought me.

Sure! I'm a huge fan of the Heavy Metal stuff, but also Alan Ford, Dylan Dog, and DC & Marvel classics.
On the other hand, I never really got hooked on manga.
