Coverage from a local bitcoin meetup in Pittsburgh.

It's great when reporters take a human interest angle on bitcoin (alas, it requires actually getting out of their chairs so it's few and far between). eg:

Should I be made to believe that Bitcoin uses encryption? Then how would we be able to have access to the blockchain if it was encrypted  Huh

They must have read somewhere that it is possible to encrypt one's wallet for extra protection against people having access to one's computer or viruses or Trojans attempting to steal one's Bitcoins.

Journalists who can't tell the difference between encryption and cryptography need to learn!!
There may still be hope for the 1st decentralized cryptocurrency which is Bitcoin. How to approach different subjects is key to progress.
