Hi,

I have received a payment of 2.5 BTC from a client and he choosed the lowest fee ofc.

This the transaction.

Inputs and Outputs
Total Input   $ 3,068.75
Total Output   $ 3,067.88
Fees   $ 0.87
Fee per byte   50.462 sat/B
Estimated BTC Transacted   $ 3,057.28
Scripts   Show scripts & coinbase

How many days it may take to confirm?

Is there a chance it will fail and will go back to the sender?

Is there a chance I could pay by my own a higher fee to this transaction to get confirmed faster?

We really need that payment to be confirmed.

Thanks

...
How many days it may take to confirm?
Maybe a few hours to 24 hours? Not entirely known.

Is there a chance it will fail and will go back to the sender?
There is a chance, but it doesn't seem likely based on current mempool.
Transactions are usually dropped after 72 hours give or take.

Is there a chance I could pay by my own a higher fee to this transaction to get confirmed faster?
...
Yes, if you can spend the 2.5 BTC now to another address you control with a fee of 142 satoshis per byte.
It is called Child Pays For Parent. A Miner may pick up your new tx faster, confirming both.

I think what you can do now is just wait since it is already sent and waiting to be processed. Before your client sent, you you must talk about the sending fee  but I think it is already too late. Hope you received already on your next reply. Good luck.

Based on https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ should confirm within a day. You probably need to have a talk with your clients about using proper fees. Would need the txid to provide any more information.

You can always pay https://pushtx.btc.com/ to push the transaction through if you have the transaction ID.

Yes, it is legal and ok as long as it is fine with your business.
But, you could push the tx yourself if you wanted to.

I can give you the link of a tool which will accelerate your transaction to confirm it very soon.
https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/

Just go to this link and past your transaction id and fill the captcha seen and submit it, if you receive the message as Accelerate confirmed then it will take hardly 1 hr. If you dont receive this message then just do the same method everytime till you dont get confirmation. As due to heavy traffic it will take some delay. But it is very usefull tool which will cost you nothing.

If your problem solved just give here the message of confirmation. I dont mind if you want to give me gift for this help , my btc wallet address is in my profile.
